Well, folks, it may be time to shift gears.
Enough with the grim catalog of atrocities we've endured for 16 long years (yes, that includes Trump’s first term—let’s not sugarcoat the chaos of a soft coup orchestrated by a rogue ex-president, a power-hungry Killary, and a media machine hell-bent on disinformation and destruction).
Today, forecast the future and optimize for victory, because the winds of change are blowing like a hurricane, and it’s time to ride the storm.
In recent weeks, I’ve dissected the Left’s baffling inability to mount meaningful resistance against Trump’s moves. Let’s be honest: part of their impotence stems from the absolute thrashing they took in the election. Even with industrial-scale cheating, Trump cruised through every swing state, snatched the House, and reclaimed the Senate. The mandate is undeniable. But what’s truly leaving both sides slack-jawed is the sheer velocity of Trump’s second-term opening act.
The first 48 hours—yes, two days—have been the most electrifying, productive, and promise-packed of any presidency in modern history. Two hundred executive orders, dozens signed live on camera, fielding press questions with the swagger of a prizefighter in his prime. This isn’t just governance; it’s a masterclass in leadership.
Compare that to the last four years, where we didn’t even have a real president—just a puppet propped up by teleprompters and handlers, wandering aimlessly like a lost tourist on stage. Even the New York Times (of all outlets) is now pulling back the curtain, admitting Biden was nothing more than a senile figurehead, his presidency a charade orchestrated by an unelected inner circle.
And now? Now we’re witnessing what happens when a leader actually keeps their promises. It’s jarring for everyone—left, right, and center. Decades of decline and defeat bred learned helplessness and conditioned us to accept mediocrity as the norm. But suddenly, we’re seeing what winning looks like, and the shock to the system is almost too much to process.
The vibe shift is so radical, so refreshing and so honest, that even former liberal stalwarts are in awe.
Case in point: when a black liberal sports commentator like Stephen A. Smith has the cojones to go on national TV and call out Biden/Harris supporters as irrational, soulless degenerates (paraphrasing, but not by much), you know the Democrats screwed up beyond repair.
As Smith acknowledges, not only is every major position of the Democratic party wildly destructive and counter to American prosperity and tradition, but also profoundly unpopular with the American people.
Let’s tally the scoreboard:
The overwhelming majority opposes mass illegal immigration.
Vaccine mandates and firing workers? Hard pass.
Men infiltrating women’s locker rooms and sports? No thanks.
Transgender propaganda and Marxist grooming in schools, workplaces, and media? Hell no.
And let’s not forget the optional wars they dragged us into. Even Putin acknowledged Ukraine would have NEVER happened under Trump.
The Democrats’ cheating in 2020 might have been their greatest self-own in history. By stealing the presidency, they woke the sleeping giant. Had they played fair, Trump might have given us a lukewarm repeat of 2016, and Pence—God bless him—would’ve been the sacrificial lamb candidate for 2024. But instead, they cheated like rabid dogs, and now the pendulum has swung back with righteous fury.
What we’re witnessing now is the obliteration of the Left’s castle of lies, washed away by a tidal wave of Trump’s promises fulfilled. It’s not just policy—it’s a movement, a reckoning, a restoration of sanity and vibrancy in a country that’s been beaten down for too long.
Promises made. Promises kept.
Welcome to the great American comeback. And we’re just getting started.
President Trump wasted no time on Tuesday, hitting the ground running with a torrent of executive orders that sent an unmistakable message: the era of weakness and appeasement is over. With the stroke of a pen—and in full view of a press corps now scrambling to keep up—Trump unleashed a bold, unapologetic reversal of Biden-era policies, tackling issues ranging from immigration and energy independence to the divisive culture wars that had fractured the nation.
This wasn’t governance by half-measures; this was a full-throttle return to an America-first agenda. Immigration policies that had turned the United States into a global turnstile were upended overnight. Executive orders opened the gates to domestic energy projects, reigniting drilling and mining on American soil while casting off the restrictive climate shackles of the previous administration. The message was clear: America would no longer bow to the globalist altar of climate virtue signaling or subsidize a chaotic border under the guise of compassion.
In an address to the nation Tuesday evening, Trump doubled down on his mission, announcing the revocation of nearly 80 “radical and disruptive” executive actions from the Biden years. "We are putting America back in control of her destiny," he declared, standing at a podium flanked by symbols of American strength. "The days of apologizing for our success, for our sovereignty, for our values—they're over."
The scope of his moves left both critics and supporters reeling. For his base, it was a triumphant return to the decisive, unapologetic leadership they craved. For the opposition, it was a stark wake-up call: the Trump doctrine is not just back; it’s moving at warp speed.
From immigration to energy independence to repealing the cultural radicalism that defined the last administration, Trump’s opening act wasn’t just a pivot. It was a reckoning—a fiery declaration that the United States was back in the driver’s seat, unapologetically charting its course toward strength, sovereignty, and sanity.
Here’s a roll call.
Federal Work Force
Freeze federal hiring, except for members of the military or “positions related to immigration enforcement, national security, or public safety.”
Restore a category of federal workers known as Schedule F, which would lack the same job protections enjoyed by career civil servants.
Halt new federal rules from going into effect before Trump administration appointees can review them.
Review the investigative actions of the Biden administration, “to correct past misconduct by the federal government related to the weaponization of law enforcement and the weaponization of the intelligence community.”
Grant top secret security clearances to White House staff without going through traditional vetting procedures.
End remote work policies and order federal workers back to the office full time. As I’ve written previously, something like 4% of federal workers work a 40 hour work week in the office. The amount of grift and incompetence is staggering.
Immigration and the Border
Bar asylum for people newly arriving at the southern border.
Move to end birthright citizenship, which is guaranteed by the 14th Amendment, for the children of undocumented immigrants. The president cannot change the Constitution on his own, so it is not yet clear how Mr. Trump plans to withhold the benefits of citizenship to a group of people born in the United States. Any move is all but certain to be challenged in court.
Suspend the Refugee Admissions Program “until such time as the further entry into the United States of refugees aligns with the interests of the United States.”
Declare migrant crossings along the U.S.-Mexico border to be a national emergency, allowing Mr. Trump to unilaterally unlock federal funding for border wall construction, without approval from Congress, for stricter enforcement efforts.
Resume a policy requiring people seeking asylum to wait in Mexico while an immigration judge considers their cases.
Consider designating cartels as “foreign terrorist organizations.”
Gender and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Initiatives
Terminate D.E.I. programs across the federal government.
Recognize two sexes: male and female.
Remove protections for transgender people in federal prisons. 15% of the women’s prison population is transexual men. 15%! That ended this week.
Tariffs and Trade
Direct federal agencies to begin an investigation into trade practices, including persistent trade deficits and unfair currency practices, as well as examine flows of migrants and drugs from Canada, China and Mexico to the United States.
Assess China’s compliance with a trade deal Mr. Trump signed in 2020, as well as the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement, which Trump signed in 2020 to replace the North American Free Trade Agreement.
Order the government to assess the feasibility of creating an “External Revenue Service” to collect tariffs and duties.
Carry out a full review of the U.S. industrial and manufacturing base to assess whether further national security-related tariffs are warranted.
Energy and the Environment
Withdraw the United States from the Paris Agreement, the useless virtu-signaling pact among some nations to fight climate change.
Declare a national energy emergency, a first in U.S. history, which could unlock new powers to suspend certain environmental rules or expedite permitting of certain mining projects.
Attempt to reverse Mr. Biden’s ban on offshore drilling for 625 million acres of federal waters.
Begin the repeal of Biden-era regulations on tailpipe pollution from cars and light trucks, which have encouraged automakers to manufacture more electric vehicles.
Roll back energy-efficiency regulations for dishwashers, shower heads and gas stoves.
Open the Alaska wilderness to more oil and gas drilling.
Restart reviews of new export terminals for liquefied natural gas, something the Biden administration had paused.
Halt the leasing of federal waters for offshore wind farms.
Eliminate environmental justice programs across the government, which are aimed at protecting poor communities from excess pollution.
Review all federal regulations that impose an “undue burden” on the development or use of a variety of energy sources, particularly coal, oil, natural gas, nuclear power, hydropower and biofuels.
TikTok ban
Consult federal agencies on any national security risks posed by the social media platform, then “pursue a resolution that protects national security while saving a platform used by 170 million Americans.” Mr. Trump ordered his attorney general not to enforce a law that banned the site for 75 days to give the Trump administration “an opportunity to determine the appropriate course forward.”
Other
Withdraw from the World Health Organization.
Rename Mount Denali and the Gulf of Mexico.
Ensure that states carrying out the death penalty have a “sufficient supply” of lethal injection drugs.
Support for a $500B AI ‘Stargate’ project that came about as a result of Trump publicly pressuring Softbank’s founder.
Fly the American flag at full-staff on Monday and on future Inauguration Days.
Implement the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), the Elon Musk-led cost-cutting initiative.
Revoke security clearances for 51 signers of a letter suggesting that the contents of Hunter Biden’s laptop could be Russian disinformation.
End the State Department’s worldwide promotion of gay race communism and return to putting American interests abroad as their primary goal. '
Promises made. Promises kept.
This first week alone makes a compelling argument for Trump’s face being etched onto Mount Rushmore.
Even if his presidency were to end tonight, it could already be considered one of the most impactful and successful in modern history.
It’s a relentless, unyielding charge forward. All gas no brakes. Keep the blitzkrieg rolling (although we should probably avoid Nazi connotative language in light of the latest MSM hoax and Elon Musk).
Even the self-aggrandizing globalist extraction feudal overlord class at Davos has been forced to pay homage.
I used to joke the best thing you could do for the world would be to drop a Daisycutter on Davos. These globalcidal maniacs have done more damage to the world with their faux climate change and antihuman policies than nearly anyone else out there.
And whether it was Yale University Professor admitting to the Davos crowd that "Trump has won, and we have lost" or Trump loudly spanking Bank of America CEO Brian Moynihan to his face about debanking conservatives, the vibe shift and paying tribute to the new king is real.
Of course the ruling class always falls back on outright lies, be it their denial of the DEI cancer or their venal efforts to choke out conservatives free speech and financial wherewithal, but the resurrection of an actual free speech platform like X makes their protestations hollow and can be disemboweled in real time.
So although Bank of America took to twitter to defend itself (and it’s not just BofA , Chase/JP Morgan and many of the other big banks played the same dangerously un-American and unconstitutional game), they were quickly eviscerated by real evidence.
Here’s the full Trump speech at Davos calling them out to their face and a brief summary from
. It’s worth a watch if you have the time.It hasn’t just been overwhelming political and social victories. From a finance perspective, Trump is making powerful moves with DOGE designed to right-size government and protect our sovereign credit rating while addressing the elephant in the room - our out of control spending and massive federal debt approaching $37 Trillion dollars.
Trump has garnered several trillion in investments for the US, targeted Greenland for acquisition and focused the power of government on enhancing and amplifying our efforts in the most important vertical in the world today - the AI space to make sure the US comes out on top.
Add in new White House-backed AI investments and friendly words to allies, and Trump’s business-friendly posture is adding fuel to the market melt-up. He’s also echoing businesses by seeming to pressure the Federal Reserve to cut interest rates.
With the market up 2% this week so far, the S&P 500 is poised for the best start for a new president since Ronald Reagan was sworn in to power in 1985.
Global shares have extended their longest advance since August, while haven assets such as Treasury bonds have retreated in the holiday-shortened week.
Trump is “going to go into radical capitalism,’’ as Michael Kelly, global head of multi asset at PineBridge Investments put it. “It’s going to be a very, very pro-business, pro-capitalist kind of remove-all-the-obstacles type of setting; it’s going to be let-it-rip economically and politically. Markets like that.”
Point of clarity Mr. Kelly - that’s not ‘radical capitalism’, it’s just capitalism. You, along with every other Davos-attending global financier, have grown far too comfortable with the toxic cocktail of overregulation strangling markets and unchecked crony capitalism—a grotesque distortion of what true capitalism is meant to be.
It’s time to reintroduce real capitalism—an open, competitive marketplace where innovation thrives and opportunities abound. Let’s see what we’re truly capable of when the shackles are removed and begin repairing the economic wreckage of the last four years.
The United States of Acceleration.
Let her rip.
Take a moment to rest, President Trump. The pace this week has been relentless—but it was necessary. Thank you for honoring the promises you made to the American people and reminding us, for the first time in decades, that government can actually serve its citizens rather than leech away their energy, resources, and livelihoods.
So, savor this moment. Celebrate the victories. You’ve earned it.
And to all the citizens, patriots and Americans that worked to make this dream a reality, we bid you goodnight.
What I’m Watching and Reading…
An urgent wake-up call from the co-founder of DeepMind, The Coming Wave reveals the staggering risks posed by AI and other rapidly advancing technologies. These forces promise immense prosperity but also threaten to upend global order, destabilize governments, and erode personal freedoms.
In a world of DNA printers, quantum computers, autonomous weapons, and robot assistants, none of us are ready for what’s coming. Suleyman, a leading voice in the AI revolution, warns that we are at a crossroads: navigate a narrow path between catastrophic harms and dystopian surveillance—or lose control entirely.
This gripping and essential book challenges us to confront the "containment problem," the defining challenge of our time. Are we prepared for the wave that’s about to change everything?
Not a fan of Sacca’s politics, but thankfully he keeps them to a minimum here and offers some great advice on parenting, life and the challenge we are facing with AI on this podcast (which is the most important issue we are facing now that we solved for the intentional political destruction of the Obama/Biden/Harris machine.
Good primer on ‘The Fourth Turning’ if you haven’t read it.

Parting Words…
That’s it for this week folks! Hope you enjoyed it. If so, please share it with a friend and spread the word. - MK
I think it’s plain that the 14th amendments does t guarantee citizenship to the children of illegals. If it did there would be no qualification. It would be “anyone born on American soil,” period.
“And subject to the jurisdiction thereof” is the key.
The language was adopted from the civil rights act of the 1860s that was trying to give citizenship to freed slaves before the 14th was ratified. That language was very clear: “not subject to a foreign power.” That is what “subject to the jurisdiction of” means.
People here illegally are not subject to the jurisdiction of the US government (this does not mean subject to its laws). They are subject to the jurisdiction of their own government.
This is why the native Americans did not receive citizenship under the 14th. They were subject to the jurisdiction of their sovereign nation. Not until the 1924 Indian citizenship act did they get US citizenship. Weird, right? It’s almost like that’s what the language of the 14th means.
The Supreme Court case that people cite to justify that SCOTUS has decided this was about the child of LEGAL residents. These were people who WERE subject to the jurisdiction of the US government.
No one has any idea what would have happened if the case had been about the child of illegal immigrants. Because it wasn’t. But it will be soon.
Think of it this way… if a foreign power invades your country in a war and members of their military have kids here, would you consider them US citizens? Hopefully not. So if those people here illegally wouldn’t have kids that would be considered citizens, why would any kind of foreigner here illegally?
The 14th amendment was CLEARLY about dealing with former slaves and their kids. Anything else would have been idiotic insanity
The way it has been abused to this day is an obvious perversion of its original intent.
