Time and again, I've underscored that the legal onslaught against Trump smacks of nothing more than lawfare—a concocted parade of baseless accusations that any objective, apolitical attorney would dismiss outright. These aren't legitimate legal battles; they're strategic maneuvers, aimed squarely at a man who stands alone in modern American politics.
Trump, uniquely untethered from the entrenched powers of the so-called Perma-State, represents their gravest fear: a return to office, a second term where the status quo faces its greatest threat. This isn't justice; it's a blatant, desperate ploy to block the path of the one figure who dares to challenge the deep-seated control wielded by the established regime.
The Swamp is apoplectic because a Trump Presidency would be potentially apocalyptic for them this 2nd go around.
I refer to it as “potential”, because last time Trump campaigned on many of the same edicts - draining the swamp (ie, declawing and disempowering the Deep State and Perma-Bureaucracy in DC) and got absolutely rolled.
Hopefully he’s learned his lessons. Given the relentless pressures and challenges faced not only by him but also by his family and associates, it seems almost inevitable. All of their livelihoods, liberties, and well-being were thrust into jeopardy, all due to his political aspirations. This crucible of experience, one would assume, has imparted some wisdom for navigating the tumultuous political landscape ahead.
Time will tell, but on the bright side things are materializing exactly as I predicted. Of the 5 cases against Trump, the only one that is based on any real, actual law or legal precedent is the Mar-a-Lago classified docs case. And the best thing going for Trump in that case is that it’s being held in Miami, not exactly a Republican stronghold but better than the uber-corrupt and functionally illiterate DC jury pool in Swamp Central DC or TDS Pandemic Ground Zero like NYC.
Plus Judge Cannon who is presiding over the case seems relatively sane and non-partisan as opposed to the series of statist zombies we’ve seen elsewhere like Judge Erdogan, Kaplan and Chutukan.
While Erdogan and Kaplan will likely get overruled (and/or scolded by the appellate courts, the classified docs case seems to have at least some merit on the surface. The two questions the prosecution must answer in the court of public opinion (if not the actual courtroom) are why Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton weren’t prosecuted for the same offense, and to what degree is a President (or former President) entitled to declassify or hold onto materials from the office?
The unique circumstances of this case underscore a clear double-standard in the political landscape; it's unlikely that such legal action would have been pursued against any other significant political figure in history. Should a figure from the Democratic party have engaged in identical behavior to that attributed to Trump, the response might at most have amounted to a strongly worded letter. This situation highlights a perceived double standard, with most clear-eyed observers witnessing a concerted effort by those in power to thwart Trump's political endeavors.
Despite the initial flurry of allegations symbolized by the "91 indictments," the actual number of charges that continue to pose a legal threat to Trump has dwindled significantly. This reduction suggests that, although Trump's legal battles are far from concluded, the majority of the anticipated legal challenges have not culminated in substantial proceedings.
Here’s what the scoreboard looks like:
DC Special Counsel ‘Election Interference’ Case: Pulled from the March 4 Docket. Likely will not conclude before the election (assuming it even gets started and the Supreme Court doesn’t torpedo it out of the water as silly corrupt partisanship).
Florida Special Counsel Classified Docs Case: On hold until the Appellate Court and Supreme Court rule on the immunity issue.
Georgia Case: In shambles. Prosecutor Fani Willis likely won’t survive any serious corruption probe for paying her lover just shy of a million bucks who funneled that money back to her in the form of vacations and gifts. At a minimum, she’ll likely be dismissed (or better yet, indicted).
New York Stormy Daniels Hush Payments: The silliest of all. This was at best a misdemeanor they tried to turn into a felony and the chief witness is a serial perjurer. NYers should be furious that Manhattan DA Fat Alvin Bragg is wasting taxpayer resources and time on this case while everyday citizens (and cops) are being robbed, beaten and harassed by illegal immigrants and Jihadist sympathizers.
NY Loan Fraud Case: Civil, no criminal penalties. And dollars to donuts the idiot running the trial gets overturned as he’s issued ruling after ruling that defy common sense and legal precedent.
Bottom line, the corrupt Biden Regime and Deep State parasites are panicking as they see their carefully laid (anti-Democratic) plans fall apart.
After Trump crushes Haley in her home state of South Carolina next month, look for the Swamp to move to Plan B as they pull out all the stops to derail the Trump candidacy.

Dems & the Media’s Immigration Plan - Lies and Damn Lies
Every time I think the rhetoric can't get more distorted, a liberal or centrist acquaintance of mine brings up a point that seems like pure spin, presenting it as a legitimate argument with a "What about X?
The latest ‘X’ to come up is the laughable notion that ‘Republicans are responsible’ for the immigration debacle because they won’t cut a new border deal with Biden and the Dems (which is in reality just a shakedown for more Ukraine money and a convenient cover story to mitigate this albatross of an election issue that is hanging around Biden’s neck. )
This heavily scripted PR notion that our demented President Rexulti doesn’t have “the right tools and funding” to fight the invasion at the Border (an invasion he loudly and happily championed during his campaign and first few years at the helm) is bush league spin that most American’s except the most partisan addled aren’t buying.
Let’s address this specious claim that,“It’s the Republicans fault!” that press secretary KJP, the rest of the Administration and their water-carrying troops in Congress have been circulating for the media’s amplification.
“Biden just doesn’t have the funding.”
This is the most laughable claim of all. Doesn’t have the money? You should always remember as a First Principle - there has NEVER been a budget cut at the Federal level for as long as any of us have been alive. The budget allocated to the government and agencies goes UP. EVERY. SINGLE. YEAR. PERIOD.
The number of agents or employees of the government, goes UP. EVERY. SINGLE. YEAR.
During Clinton’s first year in office, the Border Patrol had a budget of approximately $300M and approx. 4000 employees. That number has morphed into a $5B budget and over 20,000 employees. And that’s just the frontline Border Patrol. The Customs department total budget is over $25B!
The staffing and budget numbers during the Trump years were 25% lower, 60% lower during Obama and 70-90% lower during Clinton-Bush and there were fewer crossings in ONE YEAR during those administrations than we see in one month during the current Regime.
In fact, the Biden White House went as far as bragging to the public how much extra money they had secured for Customs and the Border Patrol in this 2023 Fact Sheet. Over $25 Billion.
The chart above gives you an idea of the increase and in 2023 and 2024 those numbers have continued to explode with 2023 averaging close to 300K a month and north of 3M for the year and 2024 is on pace to shatter those records.
That’s right, in December and January alone, more illegals were apprehended than during entire years during the Trump, Obama, Bush & Clinton administrations. The numbers are apocalyptic, and we’ve all seen the videos of cartel criminals, Muslim terrorists and Chinese military-trained males smiling broadly pretending to be ‘refugees’ with their backpacks, ATM cards, and martial postures and physiques.
So the idea that Biden just doesn’t have the money or tools is all a monstrous lie borne out of the recent blowback from American citizens who are having to deal with the consequences and Biden’s plummeting poll numbers.
It’s not an exaggeration to say that Abbott and DeSantis’ decision to bus migrants to blue Sanctuary cities so they can see first hand the havoc this is wreaking on our nation may be the single most important policy move by a state in recent history.
The bottom line - it’s all media spin and regime propaganda. Biden, Mayorkas and the Administration have more funding and tools than at ANYTIME in history and they are perfectly capable of shutting the border anytime they want to.
But they’re so adamantly opposed to a closed border and have fought so hard (and successfully) for a completely wide open border where 10M+ illegals have strolled in that they are literally fighting Texas and cutting down fencing at the border all in pursuit of ensuring an unobstructed influx of people among whom, undeniably, include criminals and potential threats.
All they ‘lack’ is will. And if you’re a regular reader, it’s even worse than a ‘lack of will’. It’s a deliberate plan to inflict devastating consequences on the country. The only question is, “What is the end goal?”
Is it Replacement Theory and elevation of a permanent Dem-voting underclass to overwhelm electoral politics?
Is it just the implementation of Cloward-Piven strategy - create a crisis so bad and dangerous that the people will be begging the government to come in and save them (but of course, we’ll have to grant the same government that caused the problem special broad emergency powers they’ll never relinquish).
Or is it something even darker? It’s apparent to most honest observers that the Biden Crime family is deeply compromised. Cadaver Joe has solicited and accepted bribes from China, Russia, Ukraine, and just about everywhere in between.
As I’ve written in the past, America was an invincible fortress for the last 200 years, surrounded by vast oceans and blessed with copious natural resources. We could never be invaded or conquered from an external force.
But in a just in time society, with aging infrastructure open to sabotage and hundreds of thousands of terrorist cells openly roaming the country, for the first time in modern history there is the possibility to bring this country to its knees (see last week’s Why it Matters for more).
Bottom line: There is no Constitutional means to deal with a situation where the most powerful elite factions are abetting an invasion explicitly to displace the existing electorate and bolster their own power. The Founders couldn’t have conceived that anyone would ever do such a thing. If this is ever solved, it will not be by deliberation, but by confrontation.
Below you’ll see why at a minimum, China already has a contingency plan right here in the States if we try to stop them from taking Taiwan.
Bye Bye Taiwan, We Hardly Knew You
While it’s the early innings of the Biden 2024 Farewell America Tour, the challenges ahead in the next 4-12 months are daunting.
We’ve talked in past newsletters about the very real likelihood of a distributed plan of sabotage, ‘peaceful protest’ and outright terrorism that we will likely see as the run-up to the 2024 election paid for by the same producers that gave us the immensely successful George Floyd Mostly Peaceful Party during Summer of 2020.
That’s one of the primary likely threats we could see as the Biden Regime panics and calls out the Soros and other progressive funded orcs and goblins who would be strengthened and reinforced this year by their new ally, the Hamas supporters and Jihadist sympathizers who have overtaken much of academia and Antifa’s old role.
Another major disruptive threat that bears watching and analyzing is a potential Tawian-China conflict as chatter is growing louder here.
It would take me hundreds of pages and hours to properly distill the game theory around this conflict so let me make a few very broad observations to at least give you a snapshot of the playing field.
The biggest takeaway from this, is that when it comes to projecting strength, Deterrence is Everything.
Walk softly and carry a big stick or peace through strength were political aphorisms touted by Teddy Roosevelt and Reagan, but they spoke to an underlying truth that you don’t have to fight every bad dude that comes along if you have the street cred that when things go hot, you can bring unprecedented force to bear and end it quickly.
Sadly, we’ve lost that immeasurable edge with the very public failures of Biden. The biggest failure of all which continues to pay negative dividends was the catastrophic Afghanistan ‘surrender’, where the whole world witnessed goat herders in sandals chasing American planes and troops out of the country in the most haphazard and public humiliation in history.
20 years, thousands of lives and trillions of dollars and we couldn’t even get our weapons, men or allies out safely. This was the Tik-Tok version of the spear throwing Zulus in the 1850’s that wrecked the colonial British army but on social media loop for the entire world to see.
It telegraphed in no uncertain terms that the US military was not to be feared, and that if a handful of untrained goat-herders with AKs and Toyota pickups can defeat the world’s most powerful military, then bad actors everywhere with actual state funding and modern militaries were emboldened.
It’s no surprise that Russia went into Ukraine shortly thereafter.
Or that Hamas launched it’s Iran-sponsored rape and slaughter fest into Israel.
Or that Iran and the Houthis’ now attack shipping and American bases in the Mideast with impunity.
When a potential foe looks at America today, they see the Afghanistan withdrawal, they see the top brass cross-dressing and singing about DEI initiatives and our trans-friendly military, they see the low morale brought on by these initiatives and the plummeting recruitment rates, and believe (whether true or not) that America is a Pre-Reagan era paper tiger consumed by its own internal problems and weak leadership (I’m being generous using the word ‘weak).
We’ve lost the deterrence factor entirely. And when you lose that, you lose nearly everything. You’re now forced to show up at 3pm and actually throw down with anyone that calls you out versus the status quo we enjoyed post-Persian Gulf and Iraq War where the world and bad actors were on notice that we were not to be F’d with.
And even though the Iraq War which was a total clusterfuck from it’s illegitimate start (“We KNOW Saddam has WMDs…”) to the end, bad actors saw America willing to spill significant blood and treasure to fight its way out of a mistake and stay the course (at least until Obama threw in the towel and got nothing in return).
Obama and Biden undid that entire, hard-earned 20 year legacy swiftly, and what we’re left with now is a post Pax Americana world where we are neither feared, respected or loved.
And that always emboldens bad actors to do bad things.
It’s no different than the Thin Blue Line Analogy. In any American city, there are not nearly enough cops to stop all the criminals and bad actors. Because the cops had the support of the government and the citizens, they were able to create a ‘Thin Blue Line’ that kept chaos at bay and criminals from openly preying on the public (and other cops).
The rule was if you committed a crime or attacked a cop, you’d go away for a very long time. We’ve removed that deterrence (intentionally) from society and we’ve seen a massive crime wave break out which will only get worse with the addition of 10M illegal aliens added to the mix over the last 3 years.
Take the recent video of 4 illegal aliens attacking 2 NYC police officers. While something like this would have been unheard of 2 decades ago, it’s common place now. And why not? There’s ZERO repercussions for attacking a cop.
These criminals all had multiple prior charges, including one that had been arrested 10 times in a single day. How it is even possible to process someone and release someone that many times in a single day boggles the mind but it’s a perfect example of the lawlessness and lack of consequences criminals can expect these days in blue cities.
These scumbags were caught and arrested, but as we all know, that doesn’t matter anymore. Because they are never prosecuted and even if they are it’s a slap on the wrist (unless you’re a white person defending a subway train full of riders from a violent deranged psychopath - then you’ll catch a murder charge that could put you away for life).
So while the above perps were arrested, they were released the same day without bail and of course left the state or will never show up for a court date and are free to keep stealing, robbing and assaulting people.
Thank you to Soros-financed DAs, Democratic politicians and woke DEI supporting journalists, you now have a population that can be preyed on by a criminal element without consequence.
The Thin Blue Line that was a powerful deterrent and kept criminals in check has been savagely (and intentionally) broken.
It’s no different on the global stage.
America’s fecklessness and public weakness makes conflict much more likely.
The latest manifestation of that is China’s willingness to do the once unthinkable - reunify (aka conquer) Taiwan.
Under Reagan or Trump, there is no chance this would happen.
Part of the calculus why it’s very much on the table right now is the possibility of a return to power of Trump.
As I said before, delving into this topic would take hundreds of pages and hours, so here’s my two cents from thirty thousand feet.
There is a signficant possibility that China will re-take Taiwan in the next few months.
Due to the oceanic calendar and the election in November, the window for military action is closing for them. Weather conditions make it difficult to conduct a military operation after July and the American election with the possibility of Trump Part Deux means there is a small window over the next 4-5 months for China to invade.
While I don’t think the overall likelihood is super high (maybe 10-25%), that’s 10x higher than it was at any point in history which is terrifying.
Here are the main points why it’s NOT likely:
It’s totally unnecessary. China can ‘retake’ Taiwan peacefully by continuing to exert political pressure on the island and will eventually Hong-Kong them over the next decade, especially if America as an ally and ideal continues to weaken and embarrass itself.
The stakes are too high - if China fails or it takes longer than expected (as it did with Russia in Ukraine), the Xi regime is over. China’s economy is struggling and a military defeat or victory that results in the destruction of the island would be a political deathblow to the CCP. As Cersei Lannister said, “When you play the game of thrones, you win or die.”
War can be table gamed 1000 different ways, but when it actually happens, the fog and actual outcomes are very hard to quantify. There is not a single war in modern memory with the exception of the Persian Gulf War 1 that went as planned. And that battle had near unanimous global support, even from the Arab world.
Lots of “X” factors, some of which may sound a bit kooky. We spend about a Trillion dollars a year on our military. There have to be some Skunkworks-type projects the world isn’t aware of that would give us a better edge than just the conventional assets we see on paper. Whether that includes zero-gravity drive vehicles, space lasers (DEW) or other alien-type weaponry (yes, it’s likely we have technology from other civilizations) who knows? But the ‘what if’ question has to be going through Chinese military minds.
Here are the main points why it may happen:
The window to move is here. As I mentioned above, China doesn’t want to deal with Trump and if there’s a fair election, there’s a very good chance he will be the next President.
Militarily on paper, most analysts don’t believe the US can successfully defend Taiwan. Even before the Afghanistan debacle, this was seen as a difficult engagement. Fighting a war thousands of miles away on your opponents home turf creates massive logistical difficulties. Also, an undetermined but not insignificant portion of the Taiwanese population is open to reunification (only 40% voted for the pro-independence candidate in the recent election). It’s unclear if the Taiwanese would offer up any type of resistance of their own.
In line with #2 above, the US is stretched and distracted by current engagements. A Taiwanese Strait war would be difficult to win with all of our focus and assets, but we’re being engaged in Ukraine and the Middle East by Iran, the Houthis and other bad actors likely at China’s request to tie down naval assets and expend resources. A one front war would be difficult. A two front war would be very difficult. Once war breaks out, other bad actors would be free to add to the mayhem. Russia would likely re-ignite and end the Ukrainian conflict once and for all and other hotspots would be prone to act up.
China's economic landscape is facing significant challenges. The once-celebrated "Chinese miracle" that marked three decades of robust growth is hitting a plateau, weighed down by hefty debt burdens and decelerating growth rates. The recent liquidation of Evergrande, a giant in the real estate sector, signals deeper troubles within the economy, hinting at potential financial crises lurking beneath the surface. Historically, domestic economic difficulties have been known to shift public focus towards external conflicts, stirring nationalistic sentiments to distract from internal issues. Given this context, China's current economic strain could inadvertently heighten the risk of conflict, making the situation more precarious rather than stabilizing it.
Biden is compromised. Who knows if he would even try to defend Taiwan. And even if he wanted to, we are in a position where China has a huge ace in their hole card - namely the 50K plus Chinese trained operatives within the country, poised to disrupt critical infrastructure and instigate chaos should tensions escalate over Taiwan. Domestic insurgents planted here by China can easily take down electrical grids, destroy water infrastructure and other key assets while killing thousands of Americans with terror attacks. It wouldn’t take much on that front before America would withdraw and leave Taiwan for China.
Those are the broad strokes at a high level. How it shakes out remains to be seen.
Gun to head, I’d say China doesn’t go. As I said above, the stakes are too high and eventually Taiwan self-reunifies in the next election or one after when they elect a pro-mainland China candidate.
That’s the rational path, although we’ve seen humans and governments are anything but rational these days so you should be prepared if this war does happen.
Same advice I gave last week for the coming ‘insurrection’ and terror attacks - plenty of food, water, medicine and cash. Get in better physical shape and start getting to know your neighbors better. Maybe even buy a new computer or phone if you need one as chips will become more scarce if a conflict breaks out.
If China does invade and is successful, it would be another nail in the coffin of America. Taiwan controls all of the most advanced chips that the world needs to operate in our post-industrialist society.
We’ve done our best to limit some of the technology that is available to China from advanced NVDA processors that are used to run AI to military and other technology. China is well aware of this, and if they retake Taiwan, they now rule the most important asset in the world on par with oil (yes you Green Grifters, oil is still the lifeblood of the planet and all economies).
Here’s a recent podcast by Erik Prince discussing the Taiwanese issue. Worth a listen.
And on the above topic, here’s a bit of additional color from John Robb and Bret Weinstein reporting back from Darien, Panama to Tucker.
Alarm bells should have been going off for years that Chinese military aged males were coming into America via a South and Central America route. Makes no sense unless you want to stay off the radar.
Weinstein - Tucker video - Money Part at 14:23
Money Quotes from Bret via Daily Caller:
“This is a camp that is built as a transit camp. It’s built of containers and various objects to house people. And it is almost entirely Chinese,” Weinstein stated.
“Chinese? That’s a long way from China,” Carlson jumped in.
“It sure is, and what’s more, in this camp, the rule that you’re able to go in and walk around and talk to people is not in evidence. The SENAFRONT, the Panamanian border control, actually forbid us to go into the camp. So we had to stay on the outside of it. We were also forbidden to photograph it. So what photographs we have were taken covertly,” Weinstein stated.
“Wait, may I ask – so is it the government of China, do you believe, that’s funding this?” Carlson questioned.
Weinstein continued to claim that the Chinese migrants had been the “opposite of forthcoming,” stating that, unlike the San Vicente camp, they had “no interest in talking to outsiders.” The biologist also described the atmosphere of the camp, noting how there allegedly were an “overwhelming” amount of Chinese military-age men…”
While we’re on the topic of World War, here’s a good interview between Bari Weiss and a few of the most interesting innovators in modern day warfare: Palmer Luckey, Jon Londsale and Katherine Boyle on where development and disruption is taking place now in that field.
If you’re not familiar with Palmer Luckey, you should be. He’s one of the most impressive people in our country and has done more in the first 31 years of his life than nearly anyone else out there.
