Life has become a South Park Episode
This week is short on original content and longer on clips from around the Datasphere as there is so much good content out there that I’d be remiss to try to summarize it all.
Like last week, we are going heavy on the campus protests riddling America.
That doesn’t mean there aren’t other important stories out there (and I attempt to Lightning Round a few of them down below), it just means that the abject stupidity, danger and absurdity of the Communist Coachella breaking out across college campuses everywhere is the most important story of the month.
So welcome to another edition of Sovereign Sunday, where we dive headfirst into the theater of the absurd that our society has become. Strap in, folks, because today's episode is more South Park than ever, replete with plots so bizarre you'd be forgiven for thinking it's all just dark satire.
Let's set the stage with the latest from college campuses, where protests for ‘Palestine’ (and Hamas, and Hezbollah and the Death of America) are all the rage. Here, the young and the restless wave flags for a cause that, frankly, many seem to misunderstand at a fundamental level. It's as if they've skipped all the relevant historical chapters and geopolitics and dove straight into the Decolonization Cliff Notes written by someone who only watches late-night satire.
Now, stick with me here because the Woke Jihadists trumpet out the most bewildering crossover plot-twist episode to date: ardent feminists championing Sharia law principles. Yes, you heard that right. The same principles that restrict women's rights to vote, obtain their precious abortions on demand, and choose their life partners are being praised by Western feminists who apparently missed the memo on what these laws entail even in the most liberal applications.
But hold onto your hats, because the irony doesn't end there. We’ve got members of the LGBTQ+ community, from gays to trans individuals, standing in defense of groups like Hamas and hardline interpretations of Islamic law prevalent in places like Gaza—where, tragically, even the mildest forms of homosexuality (to say nothing of the chest-feeding Pregnant Men variety) isn't just stigmatized; it’s a veritable death sentence. These are places where the second date for most Gays is a lovely rooftop with a view and yet, paradoxically, some activists in the West champion these regimes as bastions of ‘resistance’.
Meanwhile, it’s the very bastions of Western civilization—places like Israel and the United States—where LGBTQ+ and women’s rights have seen significant advancement and protection. It's a mind-bending contradiction, where the oppressed venerate and fellate their oppressors executioners.
Why this glaring disconnect? It appears that in the rush to embrace and defend the underdog, some have lost sight of who the real underdogs are—the women, the LGBTQ+ individuals, Jews and modern rational peace-seeking humans who actually live under oppressive regimes, not the romanticized versions shown in protest posters.
The sad truth is that most of the people are so hopelessly lost and desperate for belonging and attention, that they’ve saddled themselves to the latest Current Thing (post anti-Trump, pro-BLM and Vax Totalitarianism) they could find….even if it’s an obvious anti-human Death Cult that has produced nothing of merit since the beginning of time.
But fear not, amidst this tide of contradiction and confusion, there emerges a beacon of sanity. Fraternity culture, often maligned by mainstream narratives, is making a stand. These groups, steeped in traditions of brotherhood and patriotic fervor, are pushing back against the prevailing winds of political correctness and championing a revival of traditional, conservative American values. They're waving the flag—quite literally—in defense of the principles that grant us the freedom to debate, disagree, and, yes, even to protest.
In universities and communities across the nation, these fraternities are not just about social gatherings; they're about upholding principles that seem to be slipping through our societal fingers. They celebrate the freedoms that allow every voice to be heard, every identity to be acknowledged, and every citizen to live without fear of persecution for their beliefs or lifestyle.
So as we wrap up today's dive into the surreal, let's remember that the defense of liberty requires constant vigilance. It's not just the freedom to express popular opinions that must be protected, but the freedom to challenge, to think differently, and yes, to point out when the emperor—or the protester, or the pundit—has no clothes. In the grand tradition of Western civilization, let's keep that dialogue open, critical, and vibrant. That’s the real resistance, the real revolution in thought and action.
Everyone should be crystal clear about this: the current wave of protests on college campuses has very little to do with Hamas or Israel.
This echoes the 2020 riots which, despite the surface narrative, weren't really about George Floyd or racial justice. What we're seeing is the culmination of years where our educational system—dominated by what some might call 'green-haired, wine-loving, cat-owning, genderqueer Karens masquerading as teachers'—has brewed a deep-seated disdain for the United States. A lot of young people, now grown after years of elementary and secondary school brainwashing, have taken this sentiment to heart.
Hamas, Israel, George Floyd—these are just the spark. The tinder is the pervasive anti-American sentiment that's been fomenting under the guise of education.
And let’s not overlook the role of 'Woke' culture, which has become a quasi-religion for many. It's filled the void for those searching for meaning, guided by a chorus of leftist ideologues preaching from their digital pulpits. This isn’t just about political activism; it’s a crusade to reshape the very fabric of our society, using any excuse available to chip away at the nation’s foundations.
Best of the Campus
There’s far too much good content out there for me to recreate myself. Here’s some highlights of the Hamasniks on campus.
As I said last week, while this may be ‘good’ for Trump and conservatives as it draws a stark line between the best and the worst this country has to offer.
On one hand you have clean cut, well dressed patriotic young men carrying and defending Old Glory.
And on the other side of the battlefield, a collection of Marxist, Antifa, BLM and Jihad loving goblins.
Ben Kenobi really summed up the whole movement best:
The revival of Fraternity Culture, staunchly upholding the flag for American traditionalism and conservatism, has emerged as a highlight amidst the widespread societal regurgitation.
It’s worth noting that incentives are critically important, in economics and society. And we’ve seen the patriotic defenders of the faith be rewarded for their efforts.
A GoFundMe page was setup for the fraternity above and raised nearly $500,000 to throw these boys a ‘rager’ with Bill Ackman himself lobbing a cool $10K toward the cause.
This scenario underscores a vital point: courage is infectious. As individuals step forward, risking their safety to defend conservative values and receive both financial support and public recognition, it encourages others to take similar stands. This cycle of bravery and reward fosters a growing movement dedicated to preserving core principles.
The stranglehold that college administrations, faculty, and the Woke Undead have exerted on the silent majority—far more numerous than the vocal left—is finally weakening. For too long, this grip was maintained through double standards, accusations of 'microaggressions,' and an unequal application of rules and laws.
Foruntately, that barrier is starting to collapse, thanks in large part to Elon Musk and a renewed commitment to free speech. This shift is dismantling the old order and paving the way for a more rational and balanced dialogue on campuses.
There are far too many instances of lunacy to recount, but here’s a few good ones.
A Columbia student leader who is literally majoring in ‘Marxist Principles’ demands with a straight face that the administration bring the occupiers food and water after they illegally and violently took over one of the Administration buildings.
Ultimately, the so-called 'mostly peaceful protests' warrant a firm response, including mass arrests, expulsions, and deportations for any non-U.S. citizens involved.
These individuals lack the principles and cultural alignment with American values, and realistically, they do not have a place in our society.
Many are so stupid, naive and easily manipulated that it wouldn't be surprising if some were persuaded into carrying out extreme acts, potentially even violent terrorist acts, in an attempt to fit in with their new radical faction friends.
It’s not just the ignorance of history, disregard for reality or rationality that’s striking.
It’s how quick the whole facade over the millenial/Genz woke left shedded their principles like a snake sheds its skin at the earliest chance to ‘be cool’ or find a cause (any cause apparently) to believe in.
The spectacle of woke feminists marching and rioting in favor of Sharia law and the Islamization of our country is beautiful and comical to behold.
Palestinian and other radical Islam jihadist societies don’t exactly hide their affinity for the subjugation of women, honor killings and death sentences for adultery or even showing too much skin in some countries like Iran.
That's quite a leap from advocating for third-trimester abortions on demand and boasting about one's number of sexual partners.

Even better, are the gays, queers and trans folk who have self-lobotomized and now slavishly worship and support a movement that gleefully tells them they are non-halal and deserving of death in all circumstances…and yet the devotion is truly heartwarming.

The good news is that this type of mass hysteria always self corrects, sometimes over longer periods of time, sometimes quickly and violently.
The best thing to happen this month has been the de-masking of the American Left as an intellectually and spiritually bankrupt pit of morally depraved terrorism supporters.
Same goes with most of the ‘elite’ colleges charging $85K a year to educate your children.
As I’ve mentioned in prior weeks, there’s zero reasons these anti-American cesspools should receive a single cent of taxpayer funding. They already have multi-billion dollar endowments from generous (and gullible) alumni. There’s no need for additional federal funding. Cut it to zero tomorrow (along with NPR). No need to wait for Trump or a Republican Senate. At a minimum, get Democrats on the record supporting this garbage.
On that same vein, why do we allow anti-American hostile foreign nations to fund these institutions that are tasked with educating and turning out the next generation of American leaders?
The next step is to effectively ‘Schwarzkopf’ the funding of these sympathizers and supporters - isolate and cut the head off the Hydra funding and organizing these subversives.
It’s almost certainly the same people that funded BLM, Antifa and the Summer 2020 riots; George Soros, A15 and a host of other anti-American NGOs and private organizations.
Meanwhile, the NYPD has run a joint terrorism task force since 2001. They already know who it is. The better question is, “Why haven’t they done anything about it?”
On the bright side, attending one of these Universities is fast becoming an albatross around the graduate’s neck. For more than a decade I’ve made it clear at my firm that we won’t even entertain a ‘woke’ candidate and go to great lengths to vet them out.
It is becoming increasingly apparent to employers that many graduates from what are perceived as Marxist factories—once prestigious Ivy League and elite colleges—are not meeting even the minimum professional, professional or moral expectations.
As a result, the tarnished reputations of these institutions are leading a growing number of employers to reconsider and often decline interviewing candidates from these schools.
Sometimes it takes a bit of time for the market to adjust, but these pro-Palestine social justice warriors with gender studies degrees are going to find out the hard way that they are unemployable.
The End of Multiculturalism
It’s always been a silly fiction as practiced and worshipped by the West, but recent events show more than ever what an abject failure multiculturalism is.
Here’s a recent election in Britain. Dearborn probably isn’t far behind if we let things continue in the direction they are heading. We already saw something similar in Little Somalia Minnesota.
Men with theocratic beliefs triumph in an election, chanting "Allah u Akbar" and hoisting the flag of a group that supports jihad, holy war, and the establishment of a global Islamic caliphate.
Multiethnic societies work if people assimilate. That is the only way they can work.
An elected official shouting Allah Akbar and going on about a foreign conflict in his first speech is what the utter failure of multiculturalism looks like.
And for those in the West, let’s stop being apologetic or tolerant of the intolerant. Western civilization is not just one midlevel choice on the socio-economic governance buffet.
For those of us in the West, it's time to stop apologizing for or tolerating the intolerant. Western civilization is not merely an average option in the global socio-economic governance spectrum.
It stands markedly superior to many other cultural and religious frameworks, underpinning the very concepts of freedom and democracy, and has been the cornerstone of nearly all significant human progress over the past two millennia.
Once the necessary actions and deportations are taken to counteract the forces of intolerance and regression (hopefully successful), we will once again open our doors to new (legal) immigrants. However, this time, immigration will be regulated, controlled, and coupled with a clear expectation: newcomers must assimilate and embrace the American way of life as it was understood in the 1950s, not as it is reinterpreted in the 2020s.
