Traveling for the holiday so today will be mercifully short. If you have the time to get somewhere quiet, please take some time to reflect on the past year and cast your vision for the upcoming one.
2024 will be a barnburner, so we’re going to need to be our best and on point.
Remember, in a world full of corruption, lies and mediocrity, personal excellence is still the ultimate rebellion.
And part of personal excellence is taking a good, hard look at yourself and assessing what went wrong, what went right, and where you want to focus your time & effort moving forward.
Success in the realm of executive coaching (or anywhere else) is a journey defined by three essential pillars: retrospection, present awareness, and forward-looking vision. This holistic approach underscores the vital importance of understanding one's past experiences, staying attuned to the present moment, and envisioning a purposeful future.
By embracing this threefold approach, we ensure that the upcoming year begins with honest situational and self-awareness, laying the groundwork for a future characterized by confidence and purpose.
Highlighting the importance of looking back is a fundamental practice. It's not just about reminiscing; it involves a thoughtful examination of past experiences and the current situation, all while keeping an eye on future goals.
In my coaching practice, I encourage clients to assess both their positive and negative experiences allowing them to gather valuable insights, avoid the repetition of past mistakes and enable a more informed approach to the future.
Coaching clients in the art of reflection provides a much-needed pause, allowing them to distill essential lessons from their experiences and set a purposeful direction for their future endeavors.
The holistic strategy of reflecting on the past, engaging with the present, and planning for the future is at the heart of transformative leadership development.
In executive coaching, this trio isn't just a method; it's a philosophy that defines the route to success and leadership greatness. With the right questions and insights gained from this journey, individuals are well-equipped to move towards realizing their maximum potential, leading to a future that is not only imagined but also pursued with confidence and resolve.

Maine
Like Colorado last week, this week the lunatic(s) in Maine decided to declare Trump ineligible for the ballot in 2024.
Maine’s Secretary of State Shenna Bellows, a ‘voting-rights activist', decided to single handedly take matters into her own hands and remove the ability for Maine voters to vote for Donald Trump in the upcoming election.
Now granted, I'm just a disbarred lawyer and certainly a bit rusty on my Constitutional history.
So can someone please remind me, was it the Federalist Papers or the Constitutional Convention of 1787 where the Framers argued for the right of kooky cat ladies to have unilateral decision making authority over who can run for office? 🤔🐈
I must've been absent the day in law school they taught us that a single person gets to interpret the law in a novel and never before used manner without a trial.
Like the Colorado case, I expect this to be laughed out of the courtroom and reversed by the Supreme Court. But what it will do regardless, is continue to turn up the temperature considerably on the soft ‘Civil War’ that is currently ongoing.
These individuals behave recklessly, with little thought for future consequences if roles get reversed and a Republican takes over the White House (hint: fascism and retribution).
And why would they? None of them have faced any repercussions for their unconstitutional and anti-democratic actions.
As long as there's no accountability for those infringing on human and constitutional rights, whether through border policies, election practices, or pandemic responses, the Hunger Games will continue.

Mike, I know next to nothing about the stock market /investing in it. I have done quite a bit of real estate investing (single family, vacation rental and multi-family) but nothing in the stock market. I am intrigued by your Alpha 360 group and the sale you are running has me thinking of doing it but I am not sure if it is right for me if I don’t know anything about the stock market (and my husband doesn’t really either for that matter). If we are starting Alpha 360 as dunces, is it worth doing ?
