As a mental and sensemaking exercise, it can be helpful to ask the question Scott Adams highlighted last year.
What is the most entertaining outcome?
Because that’s what the Matrix seems likely to serve up these days, no matter how improbable.
For the SuperBowl, it was that the Chiefs would repeat and Taylor Swift’s boyfriend would play a key role.
In politics, it was a resurgence of Trump and his coronation as the eventual Republican candidate.
That’s the frequency we’ve been facing. And that’s also the trend that needs to break to bring about some sanity and logic to the equation.
Unfortunately, until the needs and desires of the general public re-align with the incentives of the Ruling Class, that’s not likely to happen anytime soon.
The good news is that it’s not too late. There are some simple, time-proven steps we can take.
The bad news is we are running out of time. There are multiple cycles reaching the end of their utility and ability to service humanity as currently constructed.
We’ve talked about this Fourth Turning on Steroids before and it’s accelerating in this critical election year.
The political and institutional model that has served us well since Post-War is collapsing, driven by insane corruption and a breakdown in basic competence.
Rather than address the faults, the Powers that Be have gone into full extraction mode, trying to milk every last drop out of the system while building their bunkers. It’s the ‘run it hard til’ the wheels fall off’ method rather than taking the time and cost to properly service the vehicle.
On the technological front, we’re entering an era very few are prepared for or can even contemplate.
Take a look at Sora, OpenAi’s new text-to-video model released this week or the Apple Vision Pro the week before if you don’t believe me.
And behind the scenes AI is accelerating at un unstoppable rate (this short video captures what many of us are feeling).
Combining all these new tools, which act as exponential multipliers on each other driving innovation even faster and democratizing power and capability downward, means the pace and rate of disruption and innovation is unbounded at this point and will fundamentally restructure nearly every industry over the next 5-7 years.
The pace of disruption and collapse of legacy structures compels those with a vision to fall back (and drive forward) on the same Lindy principles and assets that have stood the test of time.
Have a clear view of the information environment and carefully cultivate proven sources of ‘truth’.
Prepare mentally and physically for the upcoming challenges. Optimize your physical form/surroundings and embrace hardship (or as Romans 5:35 says, “Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.”)
Develop a local and online community that supports your mission.
Find purpose and have faith in a higher power.
We’ll need the full toolbox above in the coming years.
The best news, is that none of this is ‘new’. Nearly every system and civilization has faced these types of existential crisis since time immemorial.
If you place your faith in a higher power and understand this story has been written 1000 times before, you already know how it ends.
The good guys win.
It gets awfully ugly and trying first, but in the end, good triumphs over evil.
This time will be no different.
Wake Up and Smell the Treason
There’s a lot of big picture news this week that needs noting.
I'll aim to cover the essentials succinctly, given that this letter is crafted to entertain and enlighten, encouraging you to perceive 'the news'—which often amounts to little more than orchestrated regime narratives and propaganda—with fresh eyes. Understanding how to critically engage with news content enables you to decipher the underlying stories, leading to insights that truly serve you and your loved ones. This approach helps sidestep the global agenda that seems intent on herding us into minimalistic living conditions under tight surveillance, far removed from genuine well-being.
The biggest story this week beneath the waves is the mounting evidence that President Obama ordered foreign governments and his own CIA/NSA to spy on a Presidential candidate and President-elect Donald Trump in 2016.
Dedicated patriots and those vigilant about our nation's political integrity have long understood the gravity of this scandal. It stands as a stark testament to the lengths the Obama administration and its cohorts were willing to go to in their attempt at a soft coup, undermining the very fabric of our democratic process.
The Russia Collusion Hoax, among other calculated maneuvers, was nothing short of a deliberate sabotage against the rightfully elected 45th President of the United States. The emergence of irrefutable evidence showing the use of deceitful tactics, including unauthorized surveillance and wiretaps secured through fraudulent FISA warrants, is a vindication for all who value truth and justice. This egregious abuse of power and flouting of Constitutional norms cannot and should not be overlooked, as it strikes at the heart of our democracy and the principles upon which our nation was founded.
Let's cut to the chase about this bombshell revelation.
It's now crystal clear, undeniable even, that two months before clinching the 2016 election, President Obama didn't just hint or nudge but outright directed GCHQ, Britain's crown jewel in intelligence, to launch a covert operation against DJT. This isn't hearsay or conjecture anymore; it's cold, hard fact.
With the clock ticking on his tenure, and just before Trump's historic oath-taking in January 2017, Obama cunningly enlisted one of the world's elite spy networks to circumvent Trump's constitutional safeguards, aiming the surveillance apparatus squarely at him. Remember, Trump was still a presidential candidate at this point.
This revelation isn't just shocking; it's an outright political earthquake. Yet, there's a certain vindication in seeing this long-suspected maneuver finally confirmed. Indeed, it's a moment of truth that many of us have been waiting for.
Wake up and smell the treachery, folks.
This isn't just another headline; it's a seismic exposé revealing Obama's CIA brazenly soliciting foreign powers to surveil 26 individuals within Trump's circle. Make no mistake, this is the Deep State in full, unabashed operation, and it's a clear and present danger to the very core of American liberty.
What we're witnessing is nothing short of a dire need for a sweeping cleanse, a purge of the rot that has infiltrated the corridors of our government. The time is now for a historic reckoning to root out this insidious corruption once and for all.
Michael Shellenberger of the Twitter Files fame has an excellent thread where he dives into this filthy pool. It’s worth a read, and every one of the architects of this plan deserves to pay the price.
Now you know why they’ve fought so hard to kneecap and eliminate Trump. Because if justice is served and he carries this to its logical conclusion, you have to charge Obama personally and a large swath of his Administration with crimes against the Constitution. In other words, treason.
Here’s the full Shellenberger thread and a clip of the most relevant part below. This is an actual ‘insurrection’, not the glorified riot and walking tour of the Capitol on January 6th.

CIA Had Foreign Allies Spy On Trump Team, Triggering Russia Collusion Hoax, Sources Say United States Intelligence Community targeted 26 Trump advisors for foreign spy agencies to “reverse target” and “bump”
Last year, John Durham, a special prosecutor for the Department of Justice (DOJ), concluded that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) should never have opened its investigation of alleged collusion by then-presidential candidate Donald J. Trump and Russia in late July of 2016.
Now, multiple credible sources tell Public and Racket that the United States Intelligence Community (IC), including the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), illegally mobilized foreign intelligence agencies to target Trump advisors long before the summer of 2016.
The new information fills many gaps in our understanding of the Russia collusion hoax and is supported by testimony already in the public record.
Until now, the official story has been that the FBI’s investigation began after Australian intelligence officials told US officials that a Trump aide had boasted to an Australian diplomat that Russia had damning material about Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
In truth, the US IC asked the “Five Eyes” intelligence alliance to surveil Trump’s associates and share the intelligence they acquired with US agencies, say sources close to a House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HSPCI) investigation. The Five Eyes nations are the US, UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
After Public and Racket had been told that President Barack Obama’s CIA Director, John Brennan, had identified 26 Trump associates for the Five Eyes to target, a source confirmed that the IC had “identified [them] as people to ‘bump,’ or make contact with or manipulate. They were targets of our own IC and law enforcement — targets for collection and misinformation.”
Unknown details about the FBI’s investigation of the Trump campaign and raw intelligence related to the IC’s surveillance of the Trump campaign are in a 10-inch binder that Trump ordered to be declassified at the very end of his term, sources told Public and Racket.
If the top-secret documents exist proving these charges, they are potentially proof that multiple US intelligence officials broke laws against spying and election interference.
CNN, Politico, The Guardian, and others reported in 2017 that the British Government Communications Headquarters (GCHQ), the UK’s equivalent of the National Security Agency (NSA), was the “principal whistleblower” in the investigation into the alleged ties between Trump and the Russian government.
“GCHQ first became aware in late 2015 of suspicious ‘interactions’ between figures connected to Trump and known or suspected Russian agents, a source close to UK intelligence” wrote a team of reporters for The Guardian in April 2017.
This intelligence sharing was supposedly just the result of “incidental collection.” Reported The Guardian, “It is understood that GCHQ was at no point carrying out a targeted operation against Trump or his team or proactively seeking information. The alleged conversations were picked up by chance as part of routine surveillance of Russian intelligence assets.”
But now, sources say the GCHQ’s version of events is false. Instead, the US IC asked its foreign allies to target 26 members of Trump’s team, possibly to justify the FBI’s investigation.
“They were making contacts and bumping Trump people going back to March 2016,” a source close to the investigation said. “They were sending people around the UK, Australia, Italy — the Mossad in Italy. The MI6 was working at an intelligence school they had set up.”
The IC, a source said, considered the 26 Trump campaign people identified to “bump” or “reverse target,” or manipulate through confidential human sources (CHSs), to be easy marks because of their relative inexperience.
Doing so was illegal, both because US law prohibits such intelligence gathering unless authorized by a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrant and because the weaponization of the IC for political purposes constitutes election interference.
Brennan, former President Barack Obama, under whom he served, and the CIA did not respond to requests by Public and Racket for comment. The Justice Department also declined to comment. But, the FBI and GCHQ did respond.
“The allegations that GCHQ was asked to conduct ‘wire tapping’ against the then president-elect are nonsense,” said a GCHQ spokesperson. “They are utterly ridiculous and should be ignored.”
However, in our email presenting the claims to GCHQ, we did not refer to "wiretapping" but rather to its UK spy agency’s broader alleged involvement in the scheme.
Said the FBI, “The conduct in 2016 and 2017 that [Justice Department] Special Counsel [John] Durham examined was the reason that current FBI leadership already implemented dozens of corrective actions, which have now been in place for some time. Had those reforms been in place in 2016, the missteps identified in the report could have been prevented.”
But the new information provided by our sources should significantly alter the public’s understanding of how the US IC, including the FBI and CIA, began their illegal investigation into the Trump campaign’s alleged collusion with Russia...
And this bombshell does put the Mar-A-Lago classified docs search in a whole new light as some of have pointed out. What exactly were they looking for in this ‘trumped-up’ raid?? 🤔
Navalny
Alexei Navalny, the prominent Russian opposition leader and critic of President Vladimir Putin, died this week in a Russian prison under suspicious circumstances. According to official statements, Navalny felt unwell after a walk on February 16, 2024, and lost consciousness. Despite immediate medical attention and resuscitation efforts, he was pronounced dead. The prison service confirmed his death, stating that all necessary measures were taken but were unsuccessful
Navalny's death has been met with shock and condemnation, particularly from Western leaders. President Biden has directly blamed Putin for Navalny's death, stating that there is no doubt that the Russian government is behind it. Biden has also expressed outrage at the news and has indicated that the United States is considering a number of options in response
Navalny had been a thorn in the side of the Kremlin for years, known for his anti-corruption investigations and political activism. He survived a poisoning attempt with a nerve agent called Novichok in 2020, which he attributed to an assassination attempt by the Russian government. After recovering in Germany, he made the bold decision to return to Russia, where he was promptly arrested and sent to jail.
Let's put this into perspective though, dialing down the intensity just a notch. The loss of any pro-democracy advocate, especially under the heavy hand of an authoritarian regime, is a profound tragedy. Yet, what's equally alarming is the glaring discrepancy in how the world reacts to a Russian critic of Putin's regime versus the near-silent response to the plight of an American citizen targeted by Zelensky's administration in Ukraine.
Gonzalo Lira, an American citizen-journalist imprisoned for merely voicing dissent on YouTube, met a grim end without a whisper of due process, and shockingly, without a peep from the Biden administration. The lack of outrage, the absence of protest - it's a stark reminder that our focus should intensify when an American's fundamental rights are trampled abroad.
Also note that the same pearl-clutchers on the Left who are shrieking about Navalny and Khashoggi, the faux journalist Jihadist who was killed by the Saudis, haven’t offered a peep for Julian Assange or Edward Snowden, two of the bravest dissidents who revealed the illegal and dirty underbelly of the security state.
Moreover, amidst this, watch for the current administration to exploit such tragedies to peddle their anti-democratic agenda, further fueling the war narrative against Russia. The recent uproar over Russia's purported space ambitions was met with skepticism, seen by many as a thinly disguised plea for tens of billions of more dollars to funnel and launder in Ukraine. It's high time we see through these maneuvers for what they truly are: a desperate bid for unchecked Regime support and financial aid under the guise of global security.
By no means is this an apology for Putin. He deserves to be seen for exactly what he is - an anti-Democratic authoritarian who treats his citizens as subjects (although frankly, they seem to prefer that).
My friend
sums it up best:The Russian government is well known for its intolerance for dissent, and it is well documented how Moscow treats political dissidents, usually resorting to both clandestine and overt violence to quash criticism. Although Navalny is indeed being used to advance a political agenda, The Kremlin is not the good guy in this story, as a wildly antithetical force to human freedom and dignity. Instead of prosecuting Navalny while upholding due process, Moscow engaged in state-approved savagery behind closed doors. For many decades, these violent hatchet operations have been the modus operandi of the Kremlin.
Yes, the tragic death of Navalny has been turned into a political weapon, and the Biden Administration is also engaging in deeply illiberal behavior against Americans. But for all of our issues at home, celebrating authoritarian regimes abroad is not the answer to our domestic problems. As bad as some things seem in the United States, becoming a groveling brown-noser for morally bankrupt foreign regimes is never the answer.
Putting that aside, it’s worth asking why exactly my fellow Americans are supposed to dedicate our energies to the tragic death or murder of a non-American man over 5,000 miles away from America’s eastern shores. Now that Navalny has been made into a martyr, we can expect the noise level to be dialed up even higher. But that doesn’t mean all of that noise is worth our time.”
While Putin certainly warrants criticism, the irony is thick when the Biden Administration, along with its media echo chamber, vehemently condemns Putin's actions while simultaneously deploying every tool in their arsenal to incarcerate their foremost political rival for centuries and dismantle his base.
One can't help but wish for a fraction of the solidarity and backing they proclaim for Navalny to be extended to the peaceful demonstrators who are languishing in isolation, denied fair legal proceedings, and facing disproportionately severe penalties for merely walking through the Capitol in recent years.
How many J6 prisoners have been killed or killed themselves as a result of Biden’s brutal crackdown on peaceful protestors who criticize him?
If you don’t support the J6 political prisoners, then stop pretending to care about Russian ones.
Here’s
with a good take as well.Mike Benz
While we’re on the topic of treason and government abuse, the most important video of the week is Tucker Carlson’s interview of Mike Benz.
Mike Benz joined Tucker Carlson to discuss how a Department of Homeland Security-supported censorship group silenced millions of social media posts during the 2020 election and the COVID-19 pandemic, marking unprecedented levels of censorship in the U.S.
Benz revealed the government's creation of a domestic censorship office within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), initially intended for the State Department, CIA, and FBI, to combat misinformation and disinformation, with the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) taking the lead.
This office, initially focused on countering foreign disinformation, expanded its scope to suppress domestic voices and the populist movement, particularly those aligned with President Trump. The 2020 election saw CISA partnering with academic and research institutions to form a censorship consortium that enforced narrative control, particularly against content that could undermine confidence in the electoral process, like questioning mail-in ballots and early voting.
This concerted effort aimed to manage public perception and ensure a smooth narrative favoring Biden.
More on this bombshell here in the full interview.
And for the readers among us,
does a great thread roll that is condensed here.https://threadreaderapp.com/thread/1758682424064774474.html
Judge Erdogan and Trump’s Loss
As expected, far left lunatic Judge Erdogan concluded his sham trial by fining President Trump $364M and banning him from being an officer or director in a New York company for 3 years.
As I’ve written extensively, the entire kangaroo court was a joke and it’s likely all or some of it will be reversed on appeal (perhaps not all, because after all it takes places in NY - the deep underbelly of the TDS virus).
Regardless, this was the first trial in history where there were no actual damages and no actual victims. Sophisticated big banks decided to loan Trump money, were repaid in full with interest, never complained, and now Trump was fined $364 million because some judge claims Trump obtained those loans based on fraud.
That’s ‘justice’ for you. But let’s continue to criticize Putin and other anti-democratic authoritarians.
Trump should turn around and get a $364M first mortgage on Mar-a-Lago from the same banks that were the alleged victims in the case to pay the fine if it’s upheld on appeal.
And yeah, that would be the same Mar-a-Lago that the Judge determined was worth $18M, despite most appraisal experts valuing the property between $200M - $600M…
Mayorkas Impeached
Homeland Security Director and Border Czar Alejandro Mayorkas' impeachment this week isn't just justified; it's long overdue. In an era where accountability seems more like a quaint notion than a foundational principle, seeing the wheels of justice finally grinding for Mayorkas is a sight for sore eyes. The man's tenure has been a masterclass in dereliction of duty, marked by a border crisis spiraling into unprecedented chaos under his watch. His actions—or, more accurately, inactions—have not only undermined the integrity of our nation's borders but have also compromised the very security and sovereignty of the United States.
Mayorkas' leadership, if one can even call it that, has been characterized by a bewildering blend of incompetence and obstinance, turning the Department of Homeland Security into a laughingstock. The consequences of his tenure are no joke, though, with communities across the nation bearing the brunt of his failure to enforce the laws of the land. Impeaching Mayorkas isn't just about political retribution; it's about restoring faith in our ability to uphold the rule of law and protect the American people. It's high time for Mayorkas to answer for his failures, and this impeachment move is a step in the right direction.
France Passes Law Criminalizing Criticism of MRNA vaccines
In a move that reeks of dystopian overreach, France has bulldozed through what dissenters are rightly calling "Article Pfizer," a legal monstrosity that slaps draconian punishments on anyone bold enough to question the state-mandated mRNA gospel. We're talking about a chilling three-year vacation behind bars or a wallet-gutting €45,000 fine for the "crime" of promoting vaccine skepticism.
This isn't just an assault on free speech; it's a full-blown government power trip, muzzling any voice daring to challenge the mRNA narrative. "Article Pfizer" isn't just a catchy nickname—it's a glaring billboard for the unsettling coziness between government corridors and Big Pharma's gleaming lobbies. The implications are as clear as they are troubling: in France, the line between public health guardians and pharmaceutical giants isn't just blurred; it's virtually nonexistent.
Anyone who's been paying attention over the last three years knows that there's been an unprecedented alliance between government, Big Tech, and Big Pharma. Together, they orchestrated the largest propaganda and censorship campaign ever seen, all to promote a dubious and unverified genetic treatment masquerading as a public health solution. They poured billions into this effort, commandeering almost every major social and media platform to hawk a product touted as 'safe and effective', but in reality was neither.
Most individuals and nations, aside from the notable outlier of the US, have taken their lessons to heart and have since progressed beyond the mandates and discussions surrounding the so-called vaccines.
France now joins Harvard as two of the only notable places ignoring the data and still pushing this garbage.
For the uninitiated just dipping their toes into the sensemaking waters of discernment, heed this nugget from the trenches: when the playbook turns to intimidation, threats, arm-twisting, and muzzling dissent to peddle your wares, chances are, the merchandise ain’t worth the shelf space.
Fani’s Tough Week
As I covered a couple weeks ago, Prosecutor Fani Willis in the Georgia Election Interference case is under fire for a whole host of illegal and unethical dealings that would force her removal if the Judge is impartial.
From hiring her lover and overpaying him massively to be a prosecutor in the case, to making illicit cash payments and milking her campaign funds for personal use, Fani deserves to not only be booted from the current case, but to face a Bar investigation for multiple ethics violations and likely criminal charges for misuse of campaign and DA office funds.
During her testimony this week, Fani displayed a combative stance, often acting more like a prosecutor than a witness. She engaged in arguments with defense attorneys, raised objections, and had exchanges with the judge, which led to admonishments for professionalism. Willis accused defense attorneys of lying and attacked their motives, particularly targeting attorney Ashleigh Merchant, who raised accusations of self-dealing and nepotism
Willis attempted to defend herself against suggestions that her relationship with Nathan Wade, whom she hired for the election interference case, created a conflict of interest. The timeline of Willis and Wade's relationship was a focal point, with conflicting testimonies about when it began. Willis and Wade maintained that their romantic relationship started only after he was hired, while a former friend and co-worker of Willis, Robin Bryant-Yeartie, testified that she observed affectionate behavior between the two before Wade's hiring and that Willis had mentioned dating Wade in 2020 and 2021. If she indeed lied about the timing of it all and there’s proof, then it’s likely game over for Willis.
But again, we’ll have to wait and see as we’ve seen a host of hyper-partisan Judges ignore the law and do their best to appease the Biden Administration and the Left in a desperate attempt to do anything possible to derail the Trump train.
It's likely that the response to this situation will default to accusations of "racism," a predictable reaction whenever an individual of color faces scrutiny.
A good start to helping end actual racism would be to stop mistaking stupidity with race.
PS: This woman is a national treasure. Normally, this amount of public corruption and pure stupidity remains carefully hidden from the cameras. Not here.
These are the people we are going up against. 🤦🏻♂️
Here’s a list of testimony highlights.
Quick Update on Biden
Quick update on the first President to be declared mentally incompetent to stand trial (but still has control of the nuclear football).
Not that this is surprise to anyone as there has been plenty of evidence previously, but it’s now even more abundantly clear that when the president holds a press conference, he already has the questions pre-scripted from reporters, which means the WH Press not only avoided this topic, they actively participated in covering it up.
Now suddenly, some journalists and commentators or changing colors and claiming this is a problem (as if they weren’t aware of it the entire time).
Biden remains the only President in history who has not held a bona-fide press conference - meaning taking legitimate unscripted questions from a free press.
These occasional podium appearances (which are still cringeworthy and embarrassing) is nothing more than propaganda masquerading around as democracy in action.
There is no free press. And every one of the ‘journalists’ that contributed to this farce should be ashamed of themselves and treated like the scum they are.

I have not finished the article, it's great so far. But how are the NPR'era of the world ever to wake up? Not one MSM is talking about it? WSJ etc. Fox let Jessie Waters talk about it once, crickets now.
