The Left's Narrative Comes Crashing Down
Publishing today from #BitcoinMiami2021, where a slew of speakers, developers and investors are trying to give the world a better option for money and freedom so I’ll be brief.
Let me open with a special THANK YOU to Dr. Fauci for confirming what every logical American already knew. First, that COVID19 was developed in a Chinese Lab in Wuhan. Second, that surgical masks don’t work and did absolutely nothing to help slow the virus. What we didn't know is that you were covering up your own involvement and culpability from day one.
Coming on the back of the Wuhan Lab disclosures we discussed last week, the heavily redacted Fauci emails disclosed in a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request essentially turned the entire pandemic narrative on its head for the absurdly large (yet quickly shrinking) number of people who still get their news from the talking heads on TV and believe political leaders when their lips move.
Rand Paul will likely be treated as a hero by history (if liberty wins, since the winners write the history books) as one of the few persistent skeptics in government throughout the last year and for almost singlehandedly ending the pandemic by questioning Fauci for his funding and contributions to the Wuhan lab and it’s gain of function research which almost certainly produced the Covid virus.
It wasn’t that long ago for merely speculating that Covid was man made and not natural in origin was enough to get you labeled a wild eyed conspiracy theorist and canceled. The big tech “fact checkers” slapped warning labels and/or outright banned anyone (ie, Zero Hedge) that dared to question the official narrative from ‘experts’ like Fauci that the virus came from a bat 1000s of miles away from Wuhan (the only Level 4 pathogen experimentation facility in China) and then skipped over to a Pangolin. Frankly, the South Park version of how Covid originated was more believable than the official establishment story peddled by the incompetent hucksters at the WHO, CDC and elsewhere.
So, we now know they were lying. But it’s just the latest item in a long series they’ve lied or been wrong about over the past year.
They lied to you about Wuhan lab virus origination
They lied to you about masks.
They lied to you about social distancing.
They lied to you about asymptomatic spread.
But, serious people (mostly Biden voters) now want you to believe they’re telling the truth now about everything else…
So how did the Fourth Estate, our fearless press react to this bombshell?
The silence among the Pravda DNC propagandists at CNN, NYT and the Washington Post has been stunning to watch as well. This is one of the biggest stories of the decade, and the paper of record has essentially whitewashed the entire incident refusing to cover it.
It’s reminiscent of the Andrew Cuomo scandal, but with much larger implications. Brett Kavanaugh drew wall to wall coverage and outrage for a 40 year old allegation with no evidence.
And yet Andrew Cuomo, a nepotistic dolt who killed tens of thousands with his idiotic nursing home policies while taking time off from his full time day job of a serial sexual assaulter and harasser, drew about 6 minutes of coverage before the fearless journalists grew tired of ‘speaking truth to power’ and #MeToo and moved on.
Any one from the right, or anyone in any other profession in a leadership role would have been summarily fired and subject to multiple lawsuits and potentially criminal charges, but not King Andrew. So I guess I was too much of an optimist to expect these same journalists to cover the explosive Fauci emails.
A simple google search of the NY times site turned up nada. The “paper of record” didn’t have much to say. Perhaps they’re still embarrassed over the fawning “Fauci Awards 2021”, an Academy Awards like tribute show that garnered a total of 27 likes from the Times’ 790,000 followers on Twitter.
Washington Post, Mrs. “Democracy Dies in Darkness’ - nary a peep. Perhaps they’ve been too busy secretly altering headlines from last year to make themselves and their DNC puppet masters look less bad.
USA Today did fact check the ‘leaked’ emails. Oh wait, that’s right. They didn’t address a single substantive point from the emails involuntary disclosure, but made sure they wasted precious ink explaining the emails weren’t actually “leaked”, they were FOIA’d.
The way the journalists have reacted to this explosive exposure and their failure to do even the most minimal ‘journalism’ is reminiscent of the way they covered the Iraqi WMDs.
It’s akin to calling Colin Powell and George Bush Jr. onto the morning talk show circuit and commending them for being right on their justification for the Iraq War - Saddam’s stockpile of WMDs - even when no actual WMDs were ever found.
The press is supposed to check the power of the state, to demand truth and to and expose it when hidden or corrupted.
Their willingness to parrot state propaganda and not even perform the most rudimentary investigative journalism is yet another nail in the coffin of that once respected profession.
There’s one thing we can do to halt and reverse the corruption in nearly every major institution. We can start by demanding the truth. Demand that facts begin to matter again, even when they’re not convenient. Checking journalism and the educational establishment is going to take a long time. But we can start by asserting and establishing one fact at a time, and pushing back against the rot from within.
If you’ve read or known me for longer than a minute, you know I refer to the press as this generation’s tobacco executives (or worse). There will come a time in the future when having worked for the NYT or Washington Post will be equivalent to having Enron or Madoff Securities on your resume and require a lengthy explanation for any future prospective employer.
The Wuhan Lab leak and Fauci emails are two of the biggest ‘red pill’ events of the last year. At this point in time, the level of cognitive dissonance for most Americans to continue believing in the lies they’ve been fed is reaching a breaking point for even the most gullible ostriches.
I still find it hard to believe that there were actually intelligent people who genuinely believed Covid-19 wasn’t created in a lab. I posited the theory back in February 2020 and never saw a single bit of evidence that caused me to change my mind.
Anyone who has had a change of opinion about Covid-19’s origin based on the Fauci emails needs to take a step back and look at the deeper implications for the brokenness of their sensemaking, truth-deciphering apparatus and what other really fricking obvious truths about the world they may be deluding themselves about.
Anyway, rather than write at length at the import (give me a break, I’m at the Bitcoin Miami conference and haven’t slept in 3 days…), here’s a video of Tucker Carlson diagramming the Fauci scandal.
I don't typically cite or watch Fox, but Tucker is one of the few legitimate journalists on TV that actually bucks the repeated corrupt and false narrative trumopted by the rest of the corrupt, establishment media.
This is a good summary of the Fauci fraud. The nation owes a debt of gratitude to Rand Paul and others for exposing this fraud and for his continuing pushback on this government created scamdemic.
The important thing to remember is crumbling institutions never relinquish power voluntarily.
As more paths become viable through technology and advancement in forms of self-organization, the dying rulers and institutions will only grip tighter.
Redundancy and antifragility will be key and need to be strengthened while we build and support alternative paths. And as always, continue to pushback and disrupt the establishment narrative by demanding the truth and supporting those who question authority and align with freedom.
Bitcoin Miami
There’s too much to include here and it’s waaaay too late, but the TLDR of 3 days at the conference and a bevy of after parties is that the level of energy and development in the entire space is deep and accelerating. Jack Mallers of Strike announced at the conference that El Salvador is now the first country to declare bitcoin legal tender. Others will certainly follow.
The price is either consolidating or faltering at these levels ,and while the gap at $20K may now be in play, new dapps, software, protocols, projects and capital pools are being formed at an incredible rate. This is what mainstream adoption and a monetary revolution looks like in real time.
Bitcoin is about a decade old. The internet took 20 years before it mattered, and now it is ubiquitous, everywhere and runs everything. Crypto and bitcoin will follow a similar path in the next decade. And the bottom line is that’s a very good thing for freedom, liberty and hope. Stick to the plan. Continue to dollar cost average into bitcoin, ethereum and other high quality names. Play the long game, not the day to day volatility. You’ll thank me in a few years, just like the people I advised from 2016 through 2019 to do the same.

What I’m Watching…
Ivemectin was a key topic in my letter last Sunday. A recent real time case study in India shows it obliterated 97% of Covid cases. This is conclusive along with the other studies done on Ivermectin's efficacy. As I wrote last week, for ten cents ($0.10) a pill, we could haver saved trillions of dollars, millions of jobs and hundreds of thousands of lives while preserving our country's decency, liberty and dignity. We'll be cleaning up the mess our 'expert scientists' and political leaders created for a decade or more.

This is good news as the powers that be have done everything in their power from lockdowns to fomenting riots to destroy small businesses and the middle class. Small business has always been the engine of growth in our country. While heavy political contributors and quasi-nation states like Amazon and Walmart have made record breaking profits during the pandemic, mom and pops have suffocated under the heavy hand of government.
