The Emperor Never Had Any Clothes
What an unbelievable moment in American history.
The beer goggles are off. Many Americans finally saw the Joe Biden that most of us have seen for the last 5 years - a feeble, demented halfwit who couldn’t run a lemonade stand much less than most important nation in the world.
These ostriches, the 21st century version of the Japanese holdouts on Okinawa and other Pacific Islands who weren’t aware the War had ended years earlier, finally got a wake up call outside of the 24/7 propaganda and carefully selected edits from the Prestige Press.
And the results were entirely… predictable. And yet, the biggest surprise of all is how many holdouts continue to exist.
Post-debate polls showed that 33% of Americans watched this bloodbath… and still thought Biden ‘won’ the debate.
If you haven’t lost faith in ‘democracy’ yet, this poll on top of the 2020 election and the Covid response might be the final straw.
Perhaps the time has come to implement an IQ test and poll tax before someone is eligible to pull the lever?
Yes it is Rick. But so is cognitive dissonance.
Regarding the debate, it's hard to know where to begin given the abundance of manna we were gifted. I’ll give a few thoughts and then link to others in the Best of Twitter and What I’m Watching section below.
Much has already been written about the debate, so I'll aim to focus on some of the less discussed aspects.
The real questions that exist, are what happens now? And since it’s finally clear to the Japanese Holdout Ostriches that Biden is not running the country (he’s not capable of running water from a faucet), who in fact is calling the shots?
If we had a legitimate press, that question would have been pursued relentlessly over the last five years, with mounting outrage as the nation circled the toilet bowl.
From a broader perspective and considering the debate's aftermath, there are several layers worth examining.
Firstly, it's unmistakable that Biden’s performance was a catastrophic failure.
And please remember, this is the BEST Biden possible. This guy had 7 days to prepare for this debate. 7 days! No press briefings, no appearances. Just 7 full days with a his debate prep team (and a medical team on par with Dr. Frankenstein’s work resurrecting an inanimate object).
I mean, it’s not like he doesn’t have a day job and it’s not like that day job isn’t the most important job in the world right? Has there ever been any Presidential candidate that cleared his schedule for 7 full days? Hell, any candidate for any job interview anywhere?
And the outcome of all this preparation was there for all to see, unfolding in real time.
No amount of spin could alter the reality we all witnessed firsthand—a reality that, frankly, should have surprised NO ONE.
This demented, feeble cadaver has been MIA for 5 years and not a single member of the Regime Media has bothered to ask the $64,000 questions - namely, (1) Is he genuinely fit to hold any position, let alone the most critical one in the world? And (2) given the clear answer is no, who then has been steering the ship of state?
One would expect that in a democracy—or a constitutional republic—the media and the populace would vigorously pursue these questions and demand answers.
The most likely perp appears to be Barack Obama, possibly in concert with former members of his administration. This could explain the internal contradictions and helter skelter policy directions emanating from the Biden administration, suggesting a tug-of-war between competing factions and ideologies within.
When Obama left office in 2017, he did not do what every other President before him did and ride off into the sunset to build a library and chop wood. Nope. He bought a house in DC's posh Kalorama neighborhood and set up a functioning, well-staffed, policy-making office. The Democrat/Media Complex obviously did not care, but this was historically unprecedented.
From 2017-2021, Obama used that office to orchestrate the innumerable hoaxes and dirty tricks that he and the rest of the fascists used to undermine the Trump Presidency. From wiretapping the President-Elect to the Russia Collusion Hoax, Obama’s fingerprints were everywhere.
From 2021 until now, Obama used that office to manage Joe Biden and continue the #lawfare persecution of Trump. No matter what happens over the next days and weeks, realize it's being managed from that Kalorama home.
Obama and his partner-in-crime Joe Biden have done more damage to America than any other politicians in its history. It’s one of the reason they’ve pulled out every trick in the book to stop to Trump. Because they know what happens if they’re held accountable for their actions.
As Hillary allegedly screamed at an NBC executive in 2016, “We’re all going to hang if that bastard wins.”
That’s the panic you’re seeing now from the Biden/Obama administration and it’s apparatchiks.
Perhaps the most intriguing aspect of recent events is the disingenuous expression of 'shock' by mainstream media regarding Biden's mental and physical health.
Anyone possessing both sight and hearing, who has managed to avoid the relentless barrage of indoctrination from MSNBC, CNN, and the NYT, would hardly find this surprising.
There are literally hundreds of clips of Biden saying and doing even dumber, more embarrassing things over the past 3 years.
Just last week, we were blatantly misled and gaslit, directly told by Biden’s press secretary that many of these recordings were merely "AI Cheapfakes."
Biden’s team with a huge assist from the media has done everything they can to hide the real Biden from the public.
The important thing to remember is none of this should be ‘new’ or ‘news’.
The feeble, demented liar we saw on the debate stage has been the same, feeble, demented, corrupt liar that has been in public politics since at least 2018 (he was only a corrupt, stupid liar for his prior 40 years in public service).
Remember, he hid in his basement the entire election campaign of 2020.
His entire career has been a litany of lies.
His track record is replete with falsehoods and fabrications. The accusations of dishonesty and plagiarism are long-standing, underscored by his own historical ineptitude.
Again, NONE OF THIS IS NEW. He’s always been a liar, a plagiarist and low IQ midwit. As Barack Obama famously noted about his then Vice-President, “Don't underestimate Joe’s ability to fuck things up.”
The only thing semi-new (as in like 8 years ago) is the dementia and failing health, and they are merely the latest developments in a long public life marred by controversy, corruption and questionability.
This is just elder abuse at this point.
And Jill Biden is a horrible human being.
Perhaps the saddest site of the entire night, was Jill doing her “Who’s a good boy? Huh? Who’s a good boy” routine with Joe after the debate in front of the press like he deserved a treat for answering all the questions.
5 year olds spelling their name right get more respect than this.
The DNC Regime Media running cover for Biden is something I’ve harped on for years, and it bears repeating - no matter how much you hate the Regime Media, it’s not enough.
The audacity of the falsehoods perpetuated by much of the mainstream media and academic elite in recent years is staggering. Such lies, echoed relentlessly, have fractured relationships and divided families. The malevolence displayed by networks like MSNBC and CNN is nearly unfathomable.
Just days ago, the media machine, including numerous commentators, brazenly dismissed clear video evidence of Biden's frailty as mere fabrications or AI CheapFakes, dismissing what was plainly visible with unsettling nonchalance reminiscent of a serial killer's detachment.
Their fabrications and gaslighting span a broad spectrum, misleading the public on critical, life-threatening issues such as:
COVID-19
mask efficacy
the reality of biological sex
climate change,
school closures,
border security,
the situation in Ukraine
the allocation of our financial resources, and
even the integrity of our food supply.
We find ourselves engulfed in a society built on continuous deception, where the pervasive atmosphere has become toxic. This relentless barrage of falsehoods has not only skewed our perception of reality but has also dulled the collective conscience, rendering people passive in the face of humanitarian offenses.
Figures like Rachel Maddow and institutions like NPR have played roles in propagating these evils. Even The New York Times, now seemingly courageous, has shown its colors. Their recent shift against Biden was synchronized, not spontaneous—a testament to the orchestrated nature of media narratives.
These hacks have no morals, no loyalty and no concern for our country. Just political operatives masquerading as journalists.
Trust in these institutions and their pundits should never be unconditional again. We stand at a juncture where mere electoral processes seem inadequate to rectify such deep-seated corruption. Nothing short of a profound mental and spiritual awakening among the populace will suffice to navigate out of this morass. The path forward requires not just awareness but action, challenging the status quo with the tenacity and conviction necessary to reclaim truth.
PSA: If what you saw of Biden today surprised you, you have been given a gift: Proof positive that you live in a bubble that obscures important information others were fully aware of. Don't waste it -- change your information environment right now. Stop rewarding those who misled you. Your life and the lives of your loved ones may depend on it in the coming years.
There's considerable speculation that Biden's poor performance was orchestrated to facilitate his removal from the ticket. While that remains a viable theory, the actual dynamics of the debate suggest a 'win-win' scenario for the Democrats.
On one hand, if Biden had managed to appear even marginally coherent, contrasting with an ill-prepared and obnoxious Trump—as was the case in the first debate of 2020—there was a chance Biden could have narrowed Trump's lead. On the other hand, if his performance was as disastrous as it often has been, it would accelerate calls for his replacement, a narrative the media seemed to adopt almost synchronously following the debate.
Though these two outcomes seem plausible, we must consider a third possibility that extends beyond the immediate reactions to the debate itself.
They had the debate early because they knew that while Biden was not in great shape, they had drunk the Kool-Aid and convinced themselves, at least to some degree, of the lies they have been telling for years to the American people about his mental state.
They thought that if they worked with the most favorable rules, on the most favorable network with the most favorable moderators, and gave Biden a full week to prep, they would be able to get through it and even if they didn't "win" it would be far enough from the election that voters would ignore a mediocre performance.
They were not counting on what a disaster it would be to have Biden fully unmasked 1:1 vs. a competent and energetic opponent.
Yes, Biden's performance was such a disaster that it's tempting to think "this was all planned" but that's only if you ignore the levels of self-deception, lying and magical thinking that have dominated the Democrat party for years now.
That's what was exposed on the debate stage last night.
And the post-debate PANIC from CNN, MSNBC, NYT and others was simply priceless.
Even an old soul like myself isn’t above enjoying a good ole bit of schadenfreude. And watching the MNSBC loons move through the 5 stages of grief in real time was absolute 👇
The post-mortem will be interesting. Most Democratic hacks and media sycophants know Biden can’t win without the massive and widespread election fraud we saw in 2020.
The real fear is that the forthcoming November election might necessitate fraud on a scale even the Democrats might find daunting, given Biden’s poor track record and evident lack of competence.
That’s one reason why they are importing tens of millions of illegals and doing everything they can to register them to vote, coupled with a steadfast opposition to implementing Voter ID laws or any robust election safeguards.
In a real election, this looks like Reagan-Mondale of 1984 where Reagan nearly swept the Electoral map.
So can they replace Biden? Well, I’ve been writing about that for over a year and believe Gavin Newsom will be the preferred choice if it happens. But it’s easier said than done.
There are some serious obstacles both legally and logistically, but that may not stop the DNC shadow government that has ignored both of these facets since Trump came to power.
For instance, there are state deadlines to get a candidate on the ballot. And while Democrats can always depend on spineless RINOs to make exceptions (see Mike DeWine).
In the end, those who claim to be 'saving democracy' have repeatedly chosen the most undemocratic path imaginable—selecting candidates without any public input.
They excluded RFK Jr. from the primaries and debate stages, and conducted no primaries at all. If Gavin Newsom becomes the candidate, it will be through decisions made behind closed doors, once again without considering the will of the electorate.
Again, it’s kind of funny to watch the "Trump is a threat to Democracy" crowd openly strategize how to thwart the will of every Democrat who voted in the primaries by engineering a coup at the convention and placing a candidate on the ticket without a single person casting a vote.
The perspective one ought to adopt is that these individuals, whom I regard as criminals and monsters, will stop at nothing to maintain their grip on power—even if it means desecrating the Constitution and betraying the citizens they are meant to serve.
This is driven by their knowledge that with a legitimate leader who scrutinizes their past actions, many among them would justifiably face prosecution.
Let's consider the analogy I've used before: in a playground basketball game where $10,000 is at stake, you might expect some to bend the rules or make dubious calls to win. Now, imagine the stakes are exponentially higher—trillions of dollars, immense power, even one's life. Naturally, the temptation to manipulate outcomes skyrockets.
Without real election reform and an impartial, uncorrupt law enforcement body, we’ll continue to get the government and leaders we deserve.
I’m going to take a minute to do an actual debate autopsy.
While Trump was the clear winner (reaffirming that the American people have been massive losers over the past 3 years with this incompetent, nursing home patient as the President), his performance was merely decent and only a ‘win’ compared to the braindead husk standing next to him mouth agape.
Trump articulated poorly his track record and failed to adequately dissect and critique Biden’s string of failures and lies.
He also flubbed some obvious layups out there that Biden set him up for.
With regard to their age and fitness, while the golf back and forth was absolute television gold and maybe the best debate moment in history, there were numerous instances of low hanging fruit that Trump failed to capitalize on.
Trump’s immediate response to Biden defending his mental and physical health should have been, “Take a good look at my opponent standing here. Your own two eyes and ears should tell you everything you need to know. This is a man who’s greatest nemesis is a pair of stairs. And I’ve heard of people falling down stairs. I’ve never heard of people falling up. He can’t put together a coherent sentence and can’t find his way off a stage without a caretaker. He’s clearly unfit. And you don’t have to just take it from me. The special counsel that was appointed to look into just a fraction of his criminal activities, said that while it was likely he broke the law, he couldn’t indict him because the President was MENTALLY UNFIT TO STAND TRIAL. Can you imagine that? Biden’s own DOJ prosecutor said he lacked the mental capacity to even stand trial.
Imagine how bad that interview must have been for his own DOJ to say he’s mentally unfit. You know it was bad because his administration won’t release the tapes to the interview. Pledge to release the tapes tonight Joe if you’ve got nothing to hide about your cognitive qualifications.”
With regard to the Israel/Hamas conflict, Trump didn’t even mention the American hostages that Biden has thrown to the wolves and has done nothing to secure their release. When was the last time Biden even mentioned them? Trump should have bodied him on this.
“Imagine Ronald Reagan or myself allowing Americans to be held as hostage by terrorists and doing NOTHING and saying NOTHING about it. Perhaps the most pathetic display of weakness outside of your embarrassing Afghanistan withdrawal we’ve ever seen. The Russian hostages were released almost immediately. You know why? Because they respect and fear Putin. No one respects or fears you.”
There were dozens of other opportunities to slam Biden including easy pushback on some of his lies including the 15% unemployment rate he was handed. Trump should have smoked him on that and said, “15%? Is that what you actually believe or is that what the people who prepped you for the last 7 days lied to you about? Either way, to be off by that much shows you have no clue what’s going on. It’s probably why you believe inflation is down.”
Trump could have better highlighted the dramatic contrasts in the costs of gas, groceries, housing, healthcare, and other essentials from the end of his administration to the current day under Biden using numerical examples. Biden has murdered the middle class. And Trump should have pummeled him over it.
I don’t want to be too tough on Trump, as he still handily won. But he only won because Biden was so damn bad. Sure Tyson knocked out Peter McNeely in 89 seconds, but nobody is telling Tyson that was his greatest fight ever. McNeely, like Biden, was a journeyman bum and Trump is going to have to improve his game if Newsom steps into the fight.
That concludes the analysis on Trump. As for Biden, what comes next? Well after the immediate ‘shock’ and consequent media pummeling of Biden to step down by the same liars that have spent the last 5 years telling us he does cartwheels in private and is sharp as a tack dissipated - the narrative shifted.
It was Barack Obama who provided the subsequent spin, positing on Day 2 that debating a dishonest opponent was futile, encapsulated in the phrase, "you can’t debate a liar."
Sure you can, and you do so by dissecting the lies in real time and showing why reality/truth matters as Vivek Ramaswamy did expertly during the Republican primaries with Nikki Haley and the other rejects.
And while Trump certainly had some exaggerations and even a few outright lies, here’s a brief snapshot of just some of Biden’s egregious lies. Even boot-licking CNN felt compelled to do an unprecedented fact-check post-humorous dissection of Biden’s trail of lies.

The “Women need access to abortions because they are raped by their sisters” - lie

The “VA is better under Biden” lie

There are many others, but that’s a quick snapshot of Thursday’s clown show.
It’s crucial to recognize that much of what unfolds is meticulously rehearsed and strategic. The inner circle has been aware of Biden's mental and physical decline for the past five years, and they've taken unprecedented—and arguably treasonous—measures to conceal it.
Their recent candidness isn't a sudden epiphany regarding Biden's incapacity. Rather, it signals a top-down directive that "Operation Cadaver Replacement" is underway.
However, the timing is problematic; they may have waited too long and fabricated too much to seamlessly change horses at this juncture. Regardless, anticipate further upheaval and spectacle as the situation develops.
Whether the candidate is Biden or Newsom, the Deep State will pull out all the stops to prevent a Trump victory in November.
The Supremes
Not to be overlooked by the Biden debate massacre, the Supreme Court had a series of powerful rulings that pushed back on the ever expanding Deep State Leviathan and permanent bureaucratic mess that we call Washington D.C.
In 3 separate rulings, the Court kneecapped the Administrative State.
The most important one was getting rid of the Chevron Doctrine, which allowed Administrative agencies to pass whatever rules they pleased and concoct kangaroo courts to enforce those rulings.
When OHSA unilaterally mandated that tens of millions of private sector workers take the COVID shot or wear masks, appellate courts cited the Chevron doctrine for allowing it People don’t understand how important it is that Chevron deference is dead.
The people we elect to make the laws aren’t the ones who actually make the laws today, it’s unelected bureaucrats in the administrative permanent state.
Today’s decision means Administrative Agencies no longer get to decide their own powers and be judge, jury and executioner.
This is a massive win for the Constitution and the people.
When people mention the "Deep State," one of the prongs they are referring to is these unelected bureaucrats who wield the authority to essentially create laws through regulations.
For every one statute passed, there are likely around 500 regulatory measures that restrict actions, imposed by individuals who have never faced an election.
This is a seismic pushback from the ever-expanding and Unconstitutional Administrative State that will have profound effects moving forward.
And it should be only Step One.
Step Two is the Elon-Twitter approach. Musk fired 90% of Twitter employees that were supposedly essential, and the app experience was better than ever.
If Republicans win Trump should hire Vivek Ramaswamy as a Cabinet position and let him be in charge of restructuring the federal agencies. That includes firing 80% of the federal workforce Day One.
If Elon can do it in a cutting edge, private business and not miss a beat, I’m sure we can trim some fat from our glorified Federal DMV.
What I’m Watching and Reading…
Bill Ackman for the win:
As much as last night was an indictment of the Democratic Party for misleading party members and the country about the mental acuity and health of the president, the media deserve far more derision and scorn. I and others were repeatedly criticized by the media for questioning the competency of the president. Among other false accusations, I was accused of spreading misleading videos which clearly showed Biden’s deterioration. Do you remember the heavily excerpted and edited Biden
@60Minutes interview where the interviewer covered for the president by saying he was ‘very tired?’
@60Minutes knew. The @nytimes knew. @CNN knew. @MSNBC knew.
Left wing media have had total and complete access to the president, his staff, and his administration. They all knew, but they told you otherwise. They outright lied to you.
When Robert Hur, the special counsel who deposed the president, said that the president was not fit to stand trial and therefore chose not to bring charges, the media described him as a tool of the Republican Party and character assassinated him.
When the @WSJ recently published a several-thousand-word, carefully researched, front page piece on the president’s mental and physical health, it was described by left wing media as outright propaganda.
Now consider who has been feeding you propaganda. A favored technique of some of the most evil leaders in history was to mislead the people by constantly repeating the Big Lie.
The Big Lie is so audacious that people accept it as truth because it is repeated so often that how can it be that something so important and material could be an outright falsehood?
In this case the Big Lie was our president’s fitness for office, let alone a second term. A media organization is not supposed to be a branch of the Democratic Party.
The media have a profound obligation to tell the truth to the American people, particularly about something as critical for the country as the president’s mental and physical health.
People very close to me, my closest family and friends, trusted the media on Biden until the @CNN commentators finally owned up to the truth about Biden last night. For months I have been accused by many friends and family of being misled by an @X-based ‘right wing echo chamber.’
The sad reality is that one of our most important institutions, the so-called ‘Fourth Estate,’ fourth only after the clergy, the nobility, and the commoners, has destroyed any remaining credibility it has. Consider how your perception of Biden and @realDonaldTrump has been manipulated. The media can no longer save itself.
A suggestion. Rely on empirical data as much as possible. Listen to what someone actually said, rather than a headline summary or article about what someone said. Get your news from people who have a track record of telling the truth, people who do so at significant personal cost like whistleblowers.
I follow broad constituencies on @X on multiple issues. That has led me closer to the truth. Citizen journalism has been a much more accurate representation of reality. Thank you @elonmusk for saving this platform. It gives us a fighting chance to save our democracy.
Bari Weiss: Last night was more than a catastrophe for Biden. It was a catastrophe for an entire class of experts, journalists, and pundits, who have, since 2020, insisted that Biden was sharp as a tack, on top of his game, basically doing handstands while peppering his staff with tough questions about care for migrant children and aid to Ukraine.
Anyone who committed the sin of using their own eyes on the 46th president was accused, variously, of being Trumpers; MAGA cult members who don’t want American democracy to survive; ageists; or just dummies easily duped by “disinformation,” “misinformation,” “fake news,” and, most recently, “cheap fakes.” Turned out our eyes worked just fine.
