In a beautiful display of candor, Jay Powell set the stage for 2024.
During a speech to the IMF , Powell was interrupted by climate change zombies who seem to be anywhere and everywhere these days.
Whether it’s ruining priceless art, blocking roadways, or interrupting FedChair Powell as he is making a policy speech, you can always count on these data illiterate nimrods to come in and loudly and publicly declare their stupidity for the world to see.
While this otherwise wouldn’t even be newsworthy (“dumb people doin’ dumb things'“), the open mic nature of the speech caught the buttoned-up Powell in a particularly lucid moment.
After watching a handful of the the Green Grifters pour in, Powell coolly remarked, “Just close the f’n door on them.”
Exactly. Words to live by these days.
Whether it’s climate change protestors, the invading horde at our Southern border, Neocon warmongers or Hamas terrorists and their sympathizers running amok on college campuses - the sane move is to, ‘Just CLOSE THE F’N DOOR” on them.
Period. Point blank. End of Story.
The candidate running for 2024 that sticks with shutting the Southern border and unwinding the madness of the last 3 years including the wallet-breaking inflation will be the next President - assuming (and that’s an awful big assumption in light of the massive evidence to the contrary), that we’ll have secure and legitimate elections.
Time to close some doors.
Here’s a roundup of a few interesting stories this week. It was mostly a relatively slow or non-directional week. We’ve got 10 days approximately until Thanksgiving Break. Make em’ count.
And if you’re head is geared towards getting a jumpstart on the “Jan 1st Gym Crew”…
Consider joining me and some of my buddies and coaching group members in the Iron 60.
We launched Nov 1 but you can still adapt and make it an “Iron 50”.
It’s a bit more forgiving than 75 Hard during the Holidays but still keeps you accountable and winning if you stick to the program.
The origin of Iron 60 comes from my friends Chris Peterson and Steve Weatherford and is similar in many ways to the June Challenge I ran earlier in the year.
The idea is to take a 60 day sprint (or in this case, the last 50 of the year) and get some momentum with your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual output.
The Rules are simple:
Pick 8 Positive Daily Habits. They can be additions (start praying) or subtractions (stop dipping).
If you can complete 5 of them by the end of the day, you “Win the Day.”
Win 90% or more of the Days until Dec 31st and you complete the challenge.
For those that want to properly twisted during the holidays, I’ll probably run another challenge starting mid-January.
But nothing beats getting some good momentum and wins into the New Year as others are waking up fogged out, hungover and 10lbs heavier from holiday abuse.
Here’s a template if you want to join. Be sure to save it as a new copy.
And drop me a note if you’re in!
Vivek - Still the Debate King
Vivek is still the most entertaining, candid and insightful candidate out there.
Watching him on the debate stage with the others is akin to a chess grandmaster playing against enthusiastic amateurs. His contemporaries seem nostalgically trapped in a Reagan-era time warp, lagging behind Vivek not just in ideas and reality, but by a few dozen IQ points as well.
The highlight of this week’s debate for the handful of people that still think someone besides Trump will be the candidate was Vivek savaging the NBC debate hosts and RNC Head Ronna McDaniel.
Vivek's opening monologue was a witty masterstroke, sharply encapsulating the Republican Party's current farce. It highlighted the Right's almost comical persistence in treating the so-called 'journalists' on stage as anything other than regime parrots, masquerading as unbiased reporters. His words were a smart, conservative jab at the charade of legitimacy these media figures claim to uphold.
Here’s the money quotes:
“Since Ronna McDaniel took over as chairman of the RNC in 2017, we have lost 2018, 2020, 2022, no red wave that never came. We got trounced last night in 2023, and I think that we have to have accountability in our party. For that matter, Rona, if you want to come on stage tonight, you want to look the GOP voters in the eye and tell them you resign. I will turn over my time to you.”
After that, Ramaswamy blasted the debate over the moderator choices, singling out Kristen Welker:
“This should be Tucker Carlson, Joe Rogan and Elon Musk. We’d have 10 times the viewership asking questions that GOP primary voters actually care about, bringing more people into our party.
We’ve got Kristen Welker here. You think Democrats would actually hire Greg Gutfeld to host a Democratic debate? They wouldn’t do it! Kristen, I’m going to use this time because it’s actually about you, and the media and the corrupt media establishment. I’ll ask you the Trump-Russia collusion hoax that you pushed on this network for years! Was that real? Or was that Hillary Clinton that made up this information? Answer the question. Go.”
Again, right on.✊ Would the Democrats ever appear on stage and allow Alex Jones and Steve Bannon to moderate? Not a chance.
Here’s the clip. Way to call these frauds and compromised ‘allies’ out to their faces.
The underlying truth is even uglier. Whether it’s Ronna McDaniel, McCarthy, McConnell or other ‘leaders’ of the Republican party, one can reasonably infer that these individuals, along with many of their peers, are potentially compromised.
Nowhere in life, especially competitive life, where millions of lives, dollars and vast power is involved would any real competitive team have a head coach running where the team, despite every advantage in the world suffered massive losses and underperformance in 2018,2020, 2022 and 2023’s special elections and keep their job (except perhaps the NY Mets).
The ugly truth is the Republicans have no interest in winning. When you’ve got a proven loser like Ronna McDaniel in the top slot, the only conclusion to draw is that she, and most Republican leadership is either bought (China) or compromised (Epstein).
McDaniel needs to be fired immediately. I could hit a 5 iron from my backyard and strike 3 better candidates.
She’s also Mitt Romney’s niece, which makes me despise her even more.
Close the f’n door on her. 🚪
Hamas - Israel
My commentary this week remains largely similar to the previous one, as the situation has not significantly evolved.
It’s mostly more of the same, namely Hamas supporters and Palestinians continuing their active aspirations for permanent victimhood removed from all measures of accountability and reality.
Last week’s Pallywood Awards show was a big hit and we’ve seen more of the same this week including more obvious evidence that no one hates Palestinians more than Hamas, and that includes Israel.
Here’s Hamas shooting at Palestinians who are trying to evacuate the area as suggested by Israel (again, I don’t remember any country in any war in history or the US evacuating civilians at Dresden, or Hiroshima, Nagasaki, Baghdad or any other war we’ve ever fought, but go on about genocide and war crimes).
Watch one minute of footage and you will understand everything: Civilians waving white flags begin an orderly evacuation of a communal building. Once they reach the main road Hamas terrorists open fire on unarmed women and children. There’s no easy way to do it because they are hiding amongst hospitals and civilians, but Hamas is a cancer that needs to be eradicated.
And here’s more Academy Award worthy acting….it’s all about the angles including they left the Israeli ketchup bottle in the scene.
Israel finds itself in a challenging position, aware that its actions in this unavoidable conflict will be criticized regardless of their approach. Admirably, it has opted to disregard the condemnation from the idiots, anti-semites and leftist globalists.
The reality is all wars have collateral damage. When one side does all it can to avoid unnecessary civilian deaths and the other side does everything it can to put civilians in harm’s way, it’s clear the ‘outrage’ is just rage against Israel and its existence, nothing more.
Israel has been far more restrained than any power in history fighting an existential war, especially after the mind-boggling barbarism we saw from Hamas that led to the murder, torture and rape of 1400 Israelis.
Even CNN ran an opinion piece by John Spencer, chair of urban warfare studies at the Modern War Institute (MWI) at West Point stating that Israel is conducting itself in accordance with international humanitarian law.
Here’s the full piece and a few relevant passages:
“All war is hell. All war is killing and destruction, and historically civilians are inordinately the innocent victims of wars. Urban warfare is a unique type of hell not just for soldiers, who face assaults from a million windows or deep tunnels below them, but especially for civilians. Noncombatants have accounted for 90% of casualties per international humanitarian experts in the modern wars that have occurred in populated urban areas such as Iraq’s Mosul and Syria’s Raqqa, even when a Western power like the United States is leading or supporting the campaign.
On the other hand, nothing I have seen shows that the Israel Defense Forces are not following the laws of wars in Gaza, particularly when the charges that the IDF is committing war crimes so often come too quickly for there to have been an examination of the factors that determine whether an attack, and the resulting civilian casualties, are lawful. The factors that need to be assessed are the major dimensions of the most commonly agreed to international humanitarian law principles: military necessity, proportionality, distinction, humanity and honor.
When Hamas uses a hospital, school or mosque for military purpose, it can lose its protected status and become a legal military target. Israel must still make all feasible attempts to get as many civilians out of the site as possible, but the sites don’t need to be clear of civilians before being attacked.
Like all similar conflicts in modern times, a battle in Gaza will look like the entire city was purposely razed to the ground or indiscriminately carpet bombed – but it wasn’t. Israel possesses the military capacity to do so, and the fact that it doesn’t employ such means is further evidence that it is respecting the rules of war. It is also a sign that this is not revenge – a gross mischaracterization of Israeli aims – but instead a careful defensive campaign to ensure Israel’s survival.”
There’s a ton of noise and fog in this conflict, so it’s important to be clear about the basic objective truths in order to have some decent moral guardrails. Here are a few:
Those who rape, murder and torture women, children and other civilians and then joyfully celebrate it for all the world to see are not the ‘good guys’.
Those who support or sympathize with those people - generally not the good guys.
Israel is in the unfortunate position of having to wage war against Hamas in a very urban environment.
They have done everything humanly possible (and again, that no other nation would do), to minimize civilian casualties from announcing which places would be bombed, to instructing civilians to evacuate certain areas….
Hamas has made civilian casualties not only inevitable but much greater than necessary by hiding in hospitals and behind civilians.
Hamas can end the suffering of Gazans today. Release the hostages, and surrender or leave.
You’ve has 75 years to do the right thing and make peace, including the last 20 years where you’ve had sole control of Gaza.
Reread the last 3 weeks of SovSun if you want more. Palestinians in Gaza have ruled themselves since 2005. Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza have been offered a dozen peace deals that would give them 99% of the land, peace and security they’ve asked for.
The surrounding Arabs have 100x the land mass and 100x the population. Those who wish to stay and peacefully prosper should be allowed to do so despite having no moral, historical or legal claim to the area and having forfeited the right to do so after choosing terrorism against civilians over the dozen or so peace deals they’ve been offered.
It’s time to go. When you’ve chosen war and terror over peace and negotiations, you’re getting exactly what you asked for.
Those who want to fight and take up terror, prepare to meet your God over the coming weeks.
Here’s Douglas Murray being interviewed by Piers Morgan with a brilliant take. Highly recommend you watch.
The little video below basically sums up the last 50 years of the disputed territories and the saga of the made up country of Palestine. It’s a classic. 👇
Here’s a few other articles or stories or videos worth reading/watching:
Paul Kessler, a Jewish man from Westlake Village, was murdered by a pro-Palestinian protestor in broad daylight. Moments before the 69-year-old Jewish Paul Kessler was killed near Los Angeles, anti-Israel protesters could be heard chanting at the location: "Hitler should've smashed you!" A few minutes later, Paul’s head was smashed against the pavement. No charges as of yet.
President Barack Hussein Obama says we are “all complicit” in the Hamas rape and murder spree. Let’s not forget Israel had an opportunity to wipe out Hamas in 2008-09, but were given the message by the incoming Obama administration that they had to wrap things up before inauguration day, leaving Hamas in power. Obama also gave $50B and pallets of cash to Iran who has funded terror worldwide. So I don’t know think you and I are ‘complicit’, but I know at least one ex-President who is definitely not a Muslim born in Kenya who might be.
Andrew Klavan adds about Obama: “Does anyone remember when this sinister anti-American machiavel said that ISIS couldn’t be defeated by military force alone, and then Donald Trump had the military wipe their caliphate off the face of the earth in about 20 minutes? Let’s stop electing leaders who hate us.”
Let’s indeed.
And on the bright side, Columbia just booted SJP and another Palestinian Jihadist supporting student organization from campus for the year.
I guess the comedy sketch below hit a little too close to home…
And here’s some excited but mostly peaceful protesters enthusiastically knocking on the doors of Grand Central Station in NYC in order to hold a debate about the history of Israel with the police officers who have sheltered inside to avoid discussing this difficult topic. Don’t forget, “Globalize the Intifada” and “From the River to the Sea” are just cute little slogans about spreading peace and love the Jihadist way.
Honest Reporters
This week, we witnessed a significant scandal in journalism, exemplifying the complicity and corruption prevalent in the mainstream media.
Honest Reporters gave us the scoop that some of the “atrocities were captured by Gaza-based photojournalists working for the Associated Press and Reuters news agencies whose early morning presence at the breached border area raises serious ethical questions.”
Honest Reporters notes:
“What were they doing there so early on what would ordinarily have been a quiet Saturday morning? Was it coordinated with Hamas? Did the respectable wire services, which published their photos, approve of their presence inside enemy territory, together with the terrorist infiltrators? Did the photojournalists who freelance for other media, like CNN and The New York Times, notify these outlets? Judging from the pictures of lynching, kidnapping and storming of an Israeli kibbutz, it seems like the border has been breached not only physically, but also journalistically.”
Good questions indeed.
Honest Reporting continues:
“Let’s be clear: News agencies may claim that these people were just doing their job. Documenting war crimes, unfortunately, may be part of it. But it’s not that simple.
It is now obvious that Hamas had planned its October 7 attack on Israel for a very long time: its scale, its brutal aims and its massive documentation have been prepared for months, if not years. Everything was taken into account — the deployments, the timing, as well as the use of bodycams and mobile phone videos for sharing the atrocities.
Is it conceivable to assume that “journalists” just happened to appear early in the morning at the border without prior coordination with the terrorists? Or were they part of the plan?
Even if they didn’t know the exact details of what was going to happen, once it unfolded did they not realize they were breaching a border? And if so, did they notify the news agencies? Some sort of communication was undoubtedly necessary — before, after or during the attack — in order to get the photos published.
Either way, when international news agencies decide to pay for material that has been captured under such problematic circumstances, their standards may be questioned and their audience deserves to know about it. And if their people on the ground actively or passively collaborated with Hamas to get the shots, they should be called out to redefine the border between journalism and barbarism.”
It’s just one of many reasons why I don’t shed a tear when reports surface of UN workers or journalists killed in the region. UN workers via UNRWA have been active in Palestinian schools for decades teaching impressionable young minds that Jews are demons that drink the blood of Palestinian children and the ‘journalists’ are often quasi-Jihadist agents.
Victims should keep pressing for answers here and if it’s found out that CNN, Reuters, AP or the NYT knew in advance of the murder spree by Hamas and did nothing, then they should pursue legal action.
If CNN or the others had advance knowledge I’d like to see the victims bring a cause of action against them. At a minimum the financial losses would devastate them. You can make an argument they’re an actual accessory before the fact criminally as well.
For now, the media agencies have denied they had advance knowledge.
Yet that didn’t stop these media firms from employing the very same journalists in the first place despite their ‘questionable’ background.
Here’s one of the ‘journalists’ getting cozy with the leader of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar.
Again, it begs the question, what was he and others like him doing ‘working’ for CNN and the NYT in the first place?
I think we know the answer.
Mr. Beast Teaches Us a Lesson with ‘Mixed’ Reactions
YouTuber Mr. Beast once again highlighted how capitalism can solve the problems that socialism can't or won’t.
Beast and his friends recently achieved a significant feat by constructing 100 wells in Africa, providing clean water to approximately 500,000 people. However, this act has sparked a complex reaction among activists.
Saran Kaba Jones, founder of FACE Africa, expressed mixed feelings. With 15 years in the field, she highlighted the challenges of sustaining such efforts due to funding and awareness issues. "It's a bit disheartening to see a newcomer, particularly a white male with a large following, receive instant recognition for similar work," Jones remarked, offering a reserved acknowledgment to Mr. Beast.
Criticism also arises from concerns that such actions inadvertently perpetuate stereotypes about Africa's dependency on external aid and underscore government shortcomings.
Others were upset that Mr. Beast "highlighted" the failures of the Kenyan government that maintained the stereotype that Africa is "dependent on handouts… and philanthropic intervention."
Mr. Beast predicted the backlash, saying he he knows he is going to get "canceled" but he doesn't care.
"I already know I'm gonna get canceled because I uploaded a video helping people, and to be 100% clear, I don't care."
Clean drinking water is now apparently, racist. 🤦🏻♂️
He just demonstrated that many NGOs are more invested in perpetuating issues than resolving them, as solving problems could mean a loss of funding.
Their frustration seems to stem from his ability to accomplish these goals without indulging in financial excesses. This hints at a widespread issue of corruption within such organizations, where self-interest often overshadows the genuine intention to help others.
If the Left think clean water wells are racist, wait til they find out about ‘whiteboards.’

Trump’s Testimony
I’m not going to keep reiterating what a sick joke on the Republic the cases against Trump are, but the ‘Fraudulent Financial Statements’ case brought by NY Attorney General Letitia “Too Male, Too Pale and Too Stale” James and seen over by Judge Erdogan has to be a special kind of stupid in the annals of case law.
As I wrote several weeks back, this is the only case in history where there is no actual victim or plaintiff and every bank and lender that was ‘defrauded’ got paid back every single penny.
Spectators got a treat this week as Trump himself took the stand and did not disappoint.
During his testimony, Trump sparred with the judge, sparred with the State Attorney and didn’t waste the opportunity to level plenty of barbs at the corrupt and incompetent NY Attorney General. Classic, combative Trump while playing to the crowd.
Will it help him beat this case? Who knows. Either way, it’ll end up being decided at the appellate level.
Here’s a transcript of a portion of the testimony. Classic Trump.
Peter Thiel
Here’s a clip from Peter Thiel’s Hoover Institution interview from several years ago that is still great advice for young people.
Here’s his highlights:
(i) think very hard / concretely about the future
(ii) do not substitute education for thought
(iii) avoid hyper-competition; do not do what everyone else is doing
(iv) identify areas of innovation at the frontier; do new things there
And here’s a timely interview from the Atlantic, ‘Peter Thiel is Taking a Break from Democracy’.
The Atlantic is dogwater, but Peter Thiel is one of the most impactful and intelligent men on the face of the Earth, so it's worth paying attention to him when he speaks.
Antidepressants or Tolkien?
On the lighter side, this is a tremendous site. Try to guess whether the offered name is or from JRR Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings universe. I’m a huge Tolkien fan if you haven’t figured that out….and even I had trouble.

10 Diet ‘Secrets’ the Government Doesn’t Want you to Know
And while we’re on the subject of antidepressants, let me reiterate that proper diet and daily exercise is the overwhelming majority of solid mental health.
While antidepressants may be appropriate in many cases, they are far too overprescribed and are not intended to be a permanent ‘solution’. They do a better job at masking the symptoms than addressing the underlying causes.
Here are Ten Health Shibboleths Your Government Isn't Telling You:
1. Red Meat Myths Debunked: Game and permaculture beef, unlike industrial soy-fed beef, offer a healthier Omega-6 to Omega-3 ratio, debunking the red meat-cancer link which is based on industrial meat.
2. Essential Omega-3s: Your diet needs EPA and DHA from fatty, wild-caught seafood for brain health, not just ALA found in plant oils.
3. The Truth About Wheat: Industrial bread harms gut health. Opt for traditional sourdough to avoid these issues.
4. Ditch Harmful Vegetable Oils: Canola, soy, and corn oils, high in trans fats and unbalanced Omega ratios, trigger inflammation. Avoid them.
5. Saturated Fats Are Your Friends: Contrary to popular belief, they're a stable energy source, especially when not combined with processed carbs or sugars.
6. Power of Berries: Packed with flavonoids, berries like blueberries are nutritious and don't spike your blood sugar like refined sugars.
7. Raw Milk Over Pasteurized: Studies show whole milk is better for immunity and allergies than its pasteurized counterpart.
8. Vitamin D: Vital for health, yet often lacking. Aim for higher blood serum levels, supplemented with Vitamin K2 and Magnesium for optimal benefits.
9. Borax Benefits: Despite misconceptions, borax is not toxic. It's beneficial for cell health, hormone regulation, and bone strength.
10. Organic Vegetables for Better Nutrition: Due to soil depletion, conventional produce lacks nutrients. Choose organic for more antioxidants and fewer toxins.
Beware of Hidden Sugars: Excessive sugar intake, in all its forms, can cause significant health issues, including liver damage.
From Ancestral Diets to Modern Maladies: Our shift from a diet rich in meats, fish, and berries to processed carbs and sugars has significantly degraded our health.
Each meal, step, and nutrient addition is a step towards a healthier life. Vital nutrients like Vitamin D and Omega-3 are cornerstones of this transformation.
Consider following savvy heterodox doctors with a golden track record like Tro Kalayjian, Peter Attia, Brian Lenzkes and my friend Dr. Phil Ovadia, all of whom make a lot more sense than the current crop and also had the benefit of nailing the Covid scam early.
What I’m Reading and Watching…
Interesting article on the new Wearable AI phone replacement.
Jeffrey Gundlach, one of the top bond investors out there lays out where he thinks we’re heading.
"The woke mind virus is communism rebranded," says ElonMusk
When asked by Lex Fridman if he has become more political since purchasing X, Elon responded: "I guess if you consider fighting the woke wide virus, which I consider to be a civilizational threat, to be political, then yes." Here’s the video.
And yet again, Bill Maher lecturing his own. It’s a painful red pill for his idiotic NY/LA audience to swallow, but swallow it they must. Still, it’s remarkable how Maher went in 2 short years from a lifetime leftist cuck to a staunch defender of Western Civ.
A Couple of Solid Podcasts for your listening pleasure.
Erik Prince back in my lineup again. If you haven’t figured it out. I’m a fan. This man should have a lead role in intelligence/defense if Trump wins his 3rd Presidential Election in 2024. Here he is on The New Founding Podcast.
He also just launched his own podcast called, “Off the Leash.” I suggest you give it a listen and subscribe.
